Drove through Parma as part of a road trip through Italy. Came across Al Tramezzo since it was the only restaurant still open mid day. The food local to Parma was great. The staff was very welcoming and took the time to explain all dishes. They also provided suggestions for stores to buy cheese and meets. Lastly, some great advice... More

Excellent quality gourmet food, the best for me is a lemon ice cream with drops of a really aged balsamic vinegar. Anyway food is excellent. A bit on the expensive side. Ideal place for business lunch or dinner

Father and son run this very nice restaurant in Parma. Informal but up to date and elegant décor, the staff does everything to help and satisfy the customer. Rich, tasteful and classicsl Parma food, as well as seafood option as fresh as the same day. Good list of wines, one really feels almost at home. Bravo!

Even with a large group, they were very welcoming. The owner came set aside a room with air conditioning, and provided a very warm atmosphere. The service was friendly, with wide choice on menus (ladies' menu with no prices shown). Waiters took time to explain about each dish and the reasons for the combination of ingredients. Nothing is too much... More

The staff here are so attentive and passionate about food and good service. We started our meal with a bottle of bubbly and then had a first and second course. I had a fish selection and both meals were incredible. Each bite filled with the right balance of flavours. Enough food to fill you up but not too much, it... More

Service was great. Great explanations about wines, and very good details on the meal. Food : there was some very good (rissoto, pork shops, delicatessen : ham, ...), but aslo some deceptions : sea bass ravioli were very ordinary, lack of taste. The fish medley served with a crustaceous sauce was "normal". I do not say it was not good,... More

We had a very pleasant family dinner in this restaurant which was found by surprise thanks to tripadvisor. In addition to the course you choose from the menu, they will kindly bring you different side dishes or appetizers. Nice wine selection. Definitely a very good experience. Though the external image of the location does not seem very inviting, this restaurant... More

A lot of fisch specialities (carpaccio of 5 different fisch and seafood), they also had fresh mushrooms where we could choose for the pasta. I was disappointed by the desert ( some kind of chocolate ice cream with artificial mint sauce). The price was more than expected, but since I don't often eat fish, I cannot really compare.

We were referred to this restaurant by an Italian who lives in Parma. He travels around the world, and said this is one of his favorite restaurants. We adored it. The service was superb, and the food divine.

Sensacional! The owner, Filippo, taught us some important information about the Parmeggiano Regiano cheese and about the famous hams of Parma, witch were TOP! Much better than downtown restaurants! We had as appetizer the "Le Specialità Parmensi": Il Prosciutto di Parma D.O.P. di 38 mesi; La Spalletta di maiale nero (razza parmigiana) and Salame artigianale "Bocchi Anselmo with a great...
