Very friendly staff with excellent spoken English, and attentive service. Diverse and extensive wine list. Nice range of meat and seafood. Rabbit, veal cheek, cheese souffle and venison all nice but not outstanding nor huge portions. Limited dessert menu, and not great for nut allergy sufferers - although I didn't ask if dishes could be prepared without nuts. Lovely coffee... More

Overall an excellent meal with good flavors and presentation for a little more upscale evening out. The service was a little interesting, hence down one notch. There appeared to be a mix of locals and tourists. Four of us started out with antipasto selections of Parma ham and parmigiano reggiano. Both were excellent with tender, non-fatty meat and tasty cheese... More

Went here Sunday night as it was just 5 mins from the Air BnB we were staying in. I had the squid ink linguine which was so incredibly delicious and my boyfriend had the veal which was so tender and good. Great service as well with English speaking staff. Got given free little starter and dessert selection too for no... More

I cannot say enough good things about this dinner. Order the maialino appetizer. It is absolutely delicious. The squid ink pasta with lobster was wonderful. Other diners had the duck and lamb and enjoyed themselves. We washed this down first with a Dolcetto 2014 followed by a Barbera 2014 - both were delicious and well-priced. We passed on the dessert... Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in my life. For starters, this is a great place to experience the wonderful products of the region- aged parmiggiano, Modena balsamico and aged prosciutto, all available in starters to share. The dishes are fantastic- the pumpkin ravioli probably the best pasta dish I have ever eaten. I... More

My husband and I stopped in Parma specifically to have a traditional lunch, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the 36 month aged parmesan cheese and the 30 month aged Parma ham plates, and both were the best examples of those dishes we've ever had. The cheese was drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar infused with chestnut, which was delicious, and... More

Conveniently located near the train station, La Greppia had a nice menu of food typical for the area. Our party of four arrived in Parma from the US on the day we visited. We weren't hungry enough for each of us to order a starter, pasta and main course so we decided we would share. We ordered an antipasti for... More

We stopped here for Saturday lunch based on good reviews. Were very happy with the experience. Most tables were not reserved but the restaurant got full by 1:30 pm. Very good service; we tried a couple of wines by glass which was good quality. I had pasta with prociutto ham and asparagus which was amazing and veal for main -... More

Perfect meal, every item prepared with great care, service was excellent and friendly, and the quality of the food was terrific at very reasonable price. Make sure you book in advance, because walk-ins were turned away.
