I stopped here for lunch on the way from Milan to Pisa, and I am so glad I did. This was one of the few restaurants I could find that was open by the time I got to Parma. I knew I wanted Parma ham and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. This place delivered well beyond my expectation. I had the meat tasting... More

The food was great, the service was as expected, the wine was great, the only issue we had was that we got offered a surprise then nothing was put on the table. Maybe the surprise was a long wait :-)

Fantastic restaurant. Food and wine were amazing. Attentive, courteous and charming staff. Delightful and surprising amuse bouche of mascarpone with pistachios and the little selection of delicious home made treats served with coffee, finished the meal off beautifully. We will definitely be going back when we return to Parma next year. Divine

I've eaten here many times during my travels to Parma. This is a very refined classic example of the parmigiana table. The service is very attentive and efficient. They have a very good wine selection. This restaurant never disappoints.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on our first night and we were not disappointed. From walking through the door to the end of the meal we were given excellent service. The starter was mixed cured meats with bread; all superb. We both went for local favourites of pumpkin ravioli and ricotta and swish chard ravioli; both to die... More

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with opera playing quietly in the background, which put us in a good mood, as did the unexpected amuse bouche of mascarpone with pistachios. My husband was very enthusiastic about his starter, which involved bacon, parmesan and broad bean puree and I was also very happy with my pasta with parma ham and asparagus.... More

Parma is famous for the sharp and salty flavors of its cheese and ham, which are abundant on the menu of La Greppia. We started with the "slivers" of aged parmesan cheese (which are actually 6 large chunks of cheese - more than I would typically use in a month, but this is Italy!), shared the tagliolini with prosciutto (lovely,... We were impressed both by the service and the food. The dishes we ordered were well presented and full of flavour. My only complaint is (a common one) that the portions were a little too large: we would have liked to have tried three dishes each, but were stuffed after two.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, and from the beginning the staff are ready to welcome with a professional air. We ordered horse tartare (with some of the most interesting dips we have ever tasted, in a good way), pumpkin/mustard/balsamic vinegar tortelli, and proscuttio tagliatelle. The taste of everything was very deep, layered, authentic. One of our... More

The restaurant was full, but you would have never known for how attentive the staff were. Loved the food. We had the Parma ham and Parmesan cheese. Where else will you have this if not in Parma. Then ravioli with pumpkin (a specialty of Mantova) and ravioli with ricotta and erbette. Desert was entirely innovative with strawberries and basil. As... More
