Tortelli to die for ! Tagliatelle with mushrooms which were worth coming here for ! The one kilo steak was a beast worth tackling and the ice cream, nuts snd Gran Marnier was sublime ! The wine was great and our friends loved it !...A traditional restaurant just on the outskirts of Parma but you will love it !More
Best meal relative price we had on our last trip to Italy.
Tried just 1-2 nights prior to get a reservation for dinner, but couldn't .Went for lunch, which turned out to be great as the restaurant is outside of Parma town and it was...a beautiful day.
Flat pasta with mushroom of the day, tortellini various fillings.
Two salads, seafood, and chicken/raisin on lettuce bed were excellent, with neither dressing excessive or grating.
They are well known for their on site produced ice cream which though mild in flavor, had the best, creamy texture of any gelato we had on the whole trip.More
Excellent food , amazing service, local ingredients, in this restaurant you can eat
the best of the “cucina emiliana “
Ricotta ravioli and squash ravioli , local salumi , stuffed faraona homemade ice cream
Just to mention few of the dishes from their incredible menu...Highly recommend ( call way in advance for reservation )More
It’s very hard to get a reservation here. You must call about a month in advance after 7:00. It’s worth your effort. The food is delicious. A true taste treat. The restaurant was full of Italians. We seemed to be the only Americans.
We had...the parmesan cheese and sweet and sour onions. Wonderful. Next the pumpkin tortellini which we’re like little pillows of flavor and the gnocchi with pesto also full of flavor. We shared the veal and had a side of polenta. The meal was excellent.More
We have visited it for Sunday lunch. Place was very busy and mostly with local people. They serve amazing local food really high quality. We were impressed with their home made ice cream, prepared at the table. It’s outside the city but definitely worth to...comeMore
So glad we were able to snag a reservation here! What a treat. GREAT food and service. 10-15min drive from the center but I would drive an hour to get here! The food was outrageously good. I absolutely LOVED the Bacala (cod fish) served up...like round meatballs in a pistachio crust...crazy good! We started with a platter of mortadella and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (both the best we had in Parma) along with the Gnocco Fritto (Fried dough puffs). Also had the gnocci with truffles then the homemade ice cream for dessert! A must visit when in Parma!More
No it’s not in the centre of Parma but who cares when what all you want is great food from the antipasti, the most delicate and tasty pasta dishes, all fresh pasta of course , succulent main course, we had the pork and who can...resist the ice cream....perfect just perfect.More
We spend already a few dinners at this great restaurant and we will definitely come back. So far all the food we ate was special and delicious. It's traditional Italian food made with a lot of passion and just the best ingredients. The service is...very attentive and as perfect as the food. It was another evening to remember.More
If you're in Parma (and able to get a reservation somehow), this place is worth the 10 minute car ride from the center. Classic trattoria with incredible food. In particular look to the salumi dishes like the torta fritta and fresh pasta dishes - the...cognilio ravioli is great. Pricing is reasonable, with a decent bottle of wine and 4 people you can get away with about 40 euro pp. As an FYI, this restaurant was awarded best fresh pasta of the year 2017.
Downsides are that it's extremely difficult to get a reservation at certain times (try at least a month in advance), and the secondi's are nothing special.More
