Upon entry we where met by Antonio who spoke good English. Plenty of locals. The service was adequately paced and the waiter took the time to explain the Italian menu to us. The pastas where definitely freshly made and the sauces where tasty. The price were reasonable. Overall we are satisfied with our experience at this restaurant.

My girlfriend and i visted this restarunt twice while staying in Porporano. The Sicilian waiter spoke fantastic English and really went out of his way to explain the local dishes and Wines. On both evenings we split our mains into 3 different dishes so we could try different things. The freshly made Tortelli was the nicest pasta we have ever... More

Bad waiters. Gave us cracked wine glasses. Forgot to bring us our main course. Forgot our water. After changing the wine glass they had no more left to give us. How can a restaurant that small not have enough glasses? Waiters instead of serving sit dowb with people they know at the next table and forget about their customers. Do... More

We had a very good lunch with traditional Parmesan dishes: home-made pasta, pumpking / meat tortelli, very good quality of cured meat like Parmesan ham, salami, culatello, fried polenta. My friend also enjoyed the meat. I loved the veggy entries with Roman artichoques in olive-oil ...and of course the Parmesal cheese selection. very good place, but on via Traversetolo, so... More

My husband and I pulled off the road one day when we were very hungry at lunch time. We were greeted warmly and shown to a lovely little table and that's when the fun began! We spent the next two hours being pampered by the chef. He just kept bringing us dish after dish, bringing me a sampler of the... More

What a fun place to eat! Great little place to try out the local cuisine: start with a plate of cured meats (which include local specialties like culatello and prosciutto di Parma) and fried polenta, and move on to traditional delicacies like pumpking tortelli or pork shoulder (somewhat akin to Quebec’s smoke meat). And don’t miss out on the homemade... More

We returned to Parma this year for our second visit, and stopped again at this trattoria for lunch. It is located just outside the city and had been recommended by our innkeeper last year. There were many locals there as we experienced before when we dined at the restaurant. Once again we enjoyed our meal....tortellini erba, fresh parmesan cheese and... More

We were there for dinner following a recommendation by a local. The reviews on tripadvisor was pretty good as well. However, we were quite disappointed. For starters, we ordered a mix platter of cured meat. This was good. For mains, we had the rabbit and tortellini. The rabbit was too salty and the tortellini was uncooked around the edges. Prices... After all of the great reviews, we were all set for a fantastic meal, but unfortunately, this restaurant did not live up to the hype. Our courses were (forgive my spelling): meat selection with fried polenta, tagliolini with culatello, tortelli d'erbetta and rabbit. Course 1: nice selection of meats but they weren't fresh. The fat on several of them had... More
