We asked the folks at our hotel to suggest a good restaurant in Parma and this was the number one on the list. We searched it out specifically after they made us a reservation. We were really expecting some top notch food. Sorry to say, it didn't live up to our expectations. The platter of charcuterie was fine, but what... More

We should have heeded our first impression. When looking at menu one day, staff was completely unresponsive and disinterested. Still, we went because we liked the menu and location. Food was quite good, but service was terrible. 20 minutes after request about water, we had someone hurriedly take our order. No conversation, no interaction, or comments in response to questions... A plate of tortellini for 12 Euros??? It was to much for us. Not a big varriety of beers, mostly wines, and the beer we drunk, to expencive.... We couldn't know what to choose because the menu was only in Italian....!!! Well I will not make the same mistake, I will be more carefull next time when choosing a trattoria,... More

Good morning the " tortellini " are fresh and handmade every day . unique flavor and excellent quality . The price is due to this . The waiter , when asked for the menu , it would inform that we also have an English menu also available online . We regret that there be felt at home . More

We were staying at a friend's apartment and this restaurant came highly recommended. It does serve authentic local food and drink but it is more expensive than other local places. Would probably not bother with this one in future as we felt there was better value elsewhere. Good English spoken.

Everything was first rate here. We were welcomed warmly and were led through a delightful dinner, with a history and description of Parma gastronomic delights. It is clear that Roberto is proud of his heritage and happy to share that.

I loved my dinner! I had the parmesan tasting plate with 3 different kinds of parmesan cheese and mustard. Portions were large enough to share. The cheese was great and I was able to differentiate one kind from another. I then enjoyed a truffle pasta dish, that was perfectly prepared and completely delicious. The aroma was great. The truffles gave... More

After a morning of sightseeing we began looking for a pace to have lunch. Walking down busy Str, Farini we ventured inside to see the counter and were charmed by the willingness of the personnel to explain the differences between the hams and cheeses. For our luncheon we had the "Gold of Parma" selection of 5 hams and sausages, a... More

I was looking for a place to eat and wandering around. This place seemed busy, so I tried it, was actually lucky to get a table at all. The servers were very busy but still very nice, but I had to wait quite a bit before I could order. The starter, Tris di Polenta, was of course huge - never... More

This restaurant/bar has a nice atmosphere, and seems to mainly be a hangout for young people and students. If you go in the evening after 6pm you can take advantage of the Aperitivi buffet - you buy a drink and then pay 1.50 euro extra and can eat as much as you want from the buffet, which is like a... we enjoyed delicious antipasti you went inside to help yourself to a delicious selection of bruschetta with lovely topping and a large plate of Parma ham. A bowl of ravioli soup sitting outside chatting to the locals made a wonderful light lunch very memorable we went back again it was very good.
