Nice wine bar with good music and good vibes. Without any liquor they have come up with some great wine cocktails. Free snacks and peppers stuffed with anchovy where tasty accompaniments to the drinks. Service was fast and friendly.

Nice place but not great service

The place is very nice, great location and refined furnishing. It also has very good wine. However we had some issue with the service. We repeatedly said we were there just for drinks but they kept asking if we wanted something to eat. No big deal but after about 40 mins the waiter came to remove the small plates and cutlery from the table and directly put everything on another table of ppl that had just arrived. It felt not only rude but also hygienically inappropriate. Hope this was just a bad evening. Will give it another go.

Great place for an expensive drink

Excellent choice of wines. Nice design and perfect ambiance (including the choice of music). It classifies itself as a restaurant but the absence of a real kitchen and the proposed menu clearly limits that self classification. In summary a great place for a coffee or a drink not for eating. Prices on the up-side!

Harsh guest, bad experience

Very unpleasing host. The lady that seems to be the owner of this bar should treat her customers with greater respect. The point is who runs an activity is not doing their customers a favour. Customers ask for suggestions and the host, especially if they are experts on wine, should advise. Also, they should let people take some time to read the menu. Very bad experience overall. Definitely would not recommend.

Dont go there! Bad service.

It looked so nice. We sat down and asked for an aperol Spritz and a Rosé Vine. No. They do not serve that. We didnt got a vinecard or something like that. He brought me an Spritz it was with Bitter Lemon, sorry. And my Husband didnt get a Rose, he got an white, sour, sparkling, disgusting vine. They served dry bread with it. This was the worst place in italy, we have been this year. Just dont go there.

Spritz me up

Popped in for some aperitif whilst waiting for our table to be free. The spritz here were exceptional, so good that we had 2 and we're upset to give up our table to go for dinner. Not sure about the other reviews, but the service was fine and the drinks great!

Not to be missed

We were fortunate to stay in an apartment across the street for one week, and we visited at least once every day. The best advice I can give is to allow the staff to choose for you. We had the same server each time we visited, and he and the owner introduced us to their imaginative and beautifully unusual wine collection. Friendly, modern, sophisticated, magnificent. Grazi!

This place could be nice for the nice selection of wines unfortunately the service and the owner lead you to another conclusion. Expensive, unfriendly and rude. Walk a little further and find a place for a more pleasure experience

We had late lunch. Place of cold cuts and mozzarella which was exquisitely fresh and creamy. Interesting American pale ale went down very well but it’s more of a wine boutique. Interesting decor inside. Be prepared that it’s Very expensive by local standards but high quality food and drink and very relaxing.

We had a late lunch here on Easter Monday. Nice cosy setting with excellent food and staff. They don't serve coffee which is a nice change. Aziz Ansari has good taste!!

Am@zing aromatic white wine!

I went there on the last day of the year just to relax. I was looking for a place to enjoy a glass of wine and boy did I enjoy it..! I asked for a fruity, aromatic white and the really helpful and polite waiter poored me one of the most fine wines I ve ever tried... Bravo!

Worst service ever

Rude owners. We sat down and were told rather abruptly to move tables without any reason (the place was empty) and then when i saw that there was a selection of beers and asked on them i just had some Belgian style beer turn up (not what i had asked for and i hate Belgium style beers). Not wanting to make a fuss i just drank it. My wife wanted a dessert and got continually ignored so we just gave up. Oh and then had to ask twice for the bill and wait a further 20 mins for it to arrive (well i say arrive, my wife went up and demanded it from the counter as i was about to lose it!). This bar would be closed a long time ago with their attitude in the UK. Avoid this place. I can't believe some of the reviews on here saying it's good.... It's really not at all! Some lovely little wine bars just around the corner with far more atmosphere. Really gutted as it looked great.

It is very stylish boutique winery, charming atmosphere, excellent knowledge of the owner. Relaxed and quiet place. It would be no exaggeration to say that ARCHER has wine running through its veins. Affordable prizes (not exaggerated) I definitely recommend to everybody!!!

A great local bar in the heart of Modena

We found this place after a recommendation of the Manager of our hotel. It was a nice surprise. It seems to be a locals place. It was full and by the time we left there were people waiting outside waiting for a table. A good selection of drinks, including wine and a wide variety of different licours. Every drink served with something to eat and a kind and efficient service. Those are the features that made me think it is a place you would like to comeback anytime.

Interesting whiskey selection

We stopped by here on a Friday night because it was on a quiet street and had outside seating. I went inside and spoke with the bartender about drinks. She explained that the bar had a collection of single-cask scotch whiskeys that were rare but affordable. My girlfriend had a spritz and I ordered a 15 year old sherry-cask aged Scotch. It was incredibly smooth and reasonable in price for a whiskey of that age.
