I've hosted one business event and also had lunch here. Its some of the best traditional Modena food and hospitality. Close to Modena SUD exit in a tranquil location. If you're in Modena area.... it definitely worth the stop :)

I live in Australia, but every time I go back to Modena, my hometown, I try to make a stop at 'La Quercia di Rosa' with my family. It's simply the best restaurant to experience authentic and traditional cuisine, just like you would at your own house. The whole staff is friendly and welcoming, and it's the perfect environment for... More

Visited on night 3 and wished we had gone on night 2 Excellent food and service. Partner ordered a dish misreading the title and when it arrived was meat not pasta. They were very concerned but we just shared meals and actually was better. Well presented and cooked to perfection.

A short walk from the Rechigi Park hotel where we were staying but worth a drive if you are staying further afield. We both had the set menu (30 euro plus cover charge of 3) for 4 courses plus a complimentary one. Every item was first class and with a large bottle of water and one of decent Lambrusco, the... I came to Modena with my family because we are Ferrari aficionados and we wanted to visit the recently overhauled Ferrari Museum. The museum was on par with our expectations but what really impressed us is the quality of the food in Modena. Of all the restaurants we tried, none surpassed La Quercia di Rosa for scrumptiousness, quality of service... More

I just love this place. I love how it collects the best of what you can experience in Modena, my hometown. Amazing full, warm staff, beautiful atmosphere, rustic yet elegant setting. I now live in Edinburgh and everytime I come home this a MUST with my family. Perfect for an evening 'al fresco' dinner, to be with friends or for... More

We stopped here by chance off the A1 (exit Modena sud) and it was well-worth it. Entering on a busy Sunday at the height of lunch hour, our family was brightly welcomed and seated right away. We loved the use of carts for the appetizers (pieces from a round of parmiggiano reggiano drizzled with balsamic vinegar of their own production,... More

In the summer of 2010 my family took a trip through Italy on our way to Oberagammau to see the Passion Play. Staying on smaller roads we passed through Modena and stayed at the Rechigi Park Hotel. We decided to eat outside the hotel and enjoy a good, local, non chain Italian dinner. A short distance from the hotel, we... More

We were 3 persons and each ordered different dishes and then we tasted from everyone. I can't remember the names of all the dishes just the tortellini and some fryed pumpkin or zucchini flowers. And I warmly recomand both. The general note was of fine cooking.
