We had already been on a previous visit to Bologna. Prices are undoubtedly higher than average, but they support the ideal pursued by many members (I assume a cooperative). There are in fact about thirty young people who have come together in order to offer a quality product, more traditional, made with flours from their farm in Abruzzo, sourdough, etc etc etc. (see their site for more detailed info). In a few years, the idea was liked and other stores opened. Our experience concerns the one in via Galliera, frequented mainly by university students (probably they will have discounts and / or agreements). We had the classic cappuccino and brioche breakfast, which was undoubtedly XL and with fluffy dough (and especially tasted like "real"). I saw that on the shelves behind the counter they have 1 or 2 kg loaf with a good appearance. Even the counter, after the sweet display of breakfast, turns into an expanse of sandwiches, focaccia, etc. very inviting (never tried). So Recommendation if you want to try something less industrial. They also have coffee (solidarity?) with a different taste than usual.

This bakery has several sales points in Bologna. The bread is very good, the croissants are decent (be careful that the chocolate croissant contains chocolate scented cream and not gianduia cream, as in many other pastry shops in Bologna), the coffee is average. The only flaw: the cost. Bread can cost up to 12 euros per kg, two slices of bread with jam and butter 4 euros, and a 200 ml bottle of orange juice 5 euros, honestly excessive...

Here you will find - for Italy rather not yet so common - specialty coffee and very delicious snacks. Be it juicy poppy snails or the sandwich, whose name I don't remember, but is one of the best in a very long time. In any case, this cafe with its own roastery is worth a visit.

It's the second time I've had breakfast in this place (I wanted to give it a second chance), I'm sorry but the croissants (I had three types) are inedible. The pistachio cream looks like custard dyed green, the same goes for chocolate. The guys are very nice, the cappuccino is decent. Absolutely high prices for the offer. I hope the bread I bought is better!

We jumped in here twice during a stopover in Bologna. We had coffee, croissants, pain au chocolat and a couple of local pastries. Everything was of excellent quality, at really reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - we heard them speaking fluently with customers in Italian, Spanish and English (which was excellent!). Close to the train station, Bologna Centrale - highly recommended!

All very very good and at km 0. They are very attentive to the quality of raw materials. The price is high, even for basic necessities such as bread. Choice for vegans and vegetarians (croissants stuffed with special vegan creams)

Good baked goods, tasting focaccia with slightly unusual combinations, breakfast cakes and homemade desserts... They have vegan products and limit the use of plastic. Small room, but carefully kept, small tables inside

A small oven that offers a wide choice, both for sweet and savory lovers. I ate the pizza which had a fantastic dough, quality raw materials, you can see that there is a lot of work and research behind it. Correct price and very helpful and friendly staff

If you think that carrots are not a suitable vegetable for preparing delicacies in pastry shops, you are wrong! Taste the unusual flavor of the carrot and almond cake from Forno Brisa in via Galliera and you will surely change your mind!!! An event in Bologna not to be missed. 5 stars more than deserved. Dario

Twice within just a few days I bought old, hardened products at high prices. What you call...a nice package. It's a shame because they would also be good, but you either give the old stuff at a reduced price or don't sell it at all.

Breakfast immersed in a cozy atmosphere with the scent of freshly roasted coffee. Good brioche, the extraordinary "double" cappuccino for lovers of good coffee! Wide choice of focaccia for a quick brunch... sweet and savoury leavened good! Recommended!!

On our way to Bologna Centrale for a day in Verona, made a pit stop for caffe and cornetto. Gigantic cornetto. Not the McNugget-sized croissant wanna be we get in the states. Behind the counter service with a smile that warms the heart on a cold cold day. We will mos def come back. A must go to on our travel list to Bologna.

We stopped with my mother to have breakfast in this place not far from the hotel where we stayed. Excellent service, good coffees and cappuccinos, very large and good croissants. Average cost of other bars tried. Friendly staff. Positive experience.

I try to be understated, but this place is without doubt an excellent bakery and cafe. I came here for breakfast every day for a week when staying nearby. The bakery produce is excellent. The coffee is very good, as is the tea. The staff are delightful and very helpful. The prices are very reasonable and the decor is pleasant. It's a great local street with nice local customers of all ages. I can find no fault in this place. Please don't tell too many people about it :-)

It’s pretty well known, and they have an excellent variety of bread products (and other stuff) that gets refreshed during the day Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood…
