We were just one night in Bologna with a lovely temperature outside and to search a good terrace and good food was our objective. We walked several recommendations but this restaurant was our final decision and we didn't regret it. Excellent quality food with good service. Pasta, vegetables, meat and fish are excellent. My recommendation is to order a regular... More

Came here on our last night in Bologna- recommended by our hotel. Sit outside opposite the Seven Churches and pre book as it appeared people were being turned away. Classic fare but delicious with excellent service and reasonably priced wines!

The restaurant was recommended to us by staff at our hotel, and it was a very good suggestion. Everything was good, including an excellent quality-price ratio, so we repeated three times! Try the artichoke and shrimps salad, the "faraona" (guinea fowl), and the "zuppa inglese", apart from the more classical bolognese local dishes.

very nice location several blocks off the main square with excellent outdoor seating and a very attentive wait staff. All the food was excellent with the exception of the recommended(by the waiter) fried bolognese platter. I never thought it would be possible to fry custard, strawberries, apples etc but they proved me wrong. Everything else was very good. Would certainly... More

I went here upon the recommendation of our hotel with my in-laws and it was very good. The wine was lovely. The food was all great and the service was superb. Highly recommended.

We went here for lunch and had the mist refined meal in Bologna so far. We ordered grilled squid and prawns and risotto with asparagus and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

We were recommended this restaurant by our concierge and were certainly not disappointed. We were not particularly hungry having grazed on so many different foods through the day so chose a trio of different pasta - macaroni, lasagna and fettuccine (I think!). The portions were small as befits a tasting dish but absolutely delicious - really top class flavours. The... More

We been in Italy for 3 weeks now and sadly on our last 3 days. I opted for a 5 star hotel after camping last night. And I was absolutely craving a tagliatelle Bolognaise. We found it fabulous here at Da Cesararina. The Cutlet Bolognaise was also fabulous and the fiori Di zucchini with ricotta were yummy Service was flawless... More
