This looks like a hole in the wall, but like so many great restaurants, the exterior hides a jewel. This is an unassuming, traditional trattoria that serves local Bolognese food. The menu is modest in size, just a couple of pages. The good stuff is on the blackboard: the daily special. We had tortelloni alla crema di zucca, roast rabbit,... More

We are here following a recommendation from our host in our accommodation. Although the decor is basic and definitely 'no frills, this, in our opinion, added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious- we ate from the specials board chalked on the wall. The place was packed entirely with locals - there was a graduation party and another large group... More

If you are looking for an authentic local restaurant this is it. Excellent food, no frills, cheap, only Italiano (if you don't understand its your problem). Unless you want something fancy, highly recommended.

Bolognese food in a typical old fashioned Osteria. Zero frills, big portions, but pricier than expected. We paid €62 for two and I only had the lasagne.

Visited on a Monday, so perhaps why we had such an unenjoyable meal. The waiter wanted to spend as little time possible with us, we did our best to converse in Italian, but any attempts were met with frosty silence. The food was average and the bread that came on the side was very stale. Really wanted to like this... More

Very satisfying but a little far from city center. I put the picture of the many but there is the menu of the day as well. I went for a lunch and i was the only tourists and the place was packed; always a good sign

Pitched up without a booking and were very lucky to get a table. Place so busy! A good sign. Very inexpensive and basic good Italian home cooking. Not a fancy place but great for food. Service was excellent.

You better don`t pay attention to the interieur - this place could need a renovation. But we are here for the food and for the atmosphere and both are great at Vito´s. Many young people come here because it´s still affordable, it`s a typical Italian restaurant, crowded, noisy, with fresh pasta in all variations, stick to the table wine.
