We ate here on Monday. We were the only non Italians in the restaurant. Such good value food. You can get a pizza for €6.

We went here at the suggestion of our daughter’s teacher from her study abroad program and it was the best bolognese, bruschetta & octopus we’ve had in Italy so far! Delicious!! We all got the bolognese, some got the tortellini and that was incredible too....It was a rainy day and so the perfect comfort food felt like a nice warm hug from an Italian grandma. ;) We had the octopus with tomato and basil and bruschetta and they were the perfect starters as well. The atmosphere was very nice too but not too fancy, with booths or tables and futbol jerseys on the ceiling. Make a stop here if you can!More

Wonderful birthday dinner at La Brace while in Bologna. Monika and her family were gracious hosts and really looked after us. Pasta was fantastic as expected, perfectly paired with the Tignanello! Thanks for a great evening!

We were wandering around on our first night in Bologna and happened upon La Brace. We wanted to eat outside and they have a lovely outdoor patio. The food was excellent and we tried a sampling of salad, grilled fish, two types of pasta and...veggie dishes. We had a veritable feast. Our server was extremely patient with us and then delivered everything the way we had hoped for. We enjoyed chatting with the manager, perhaps owner, at some length. The evening was thoroughly enjoyable and lived up to our expectations for a lovely Bolognese dinner.More

We were here both of the nights that we were in Bologna. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiter that served us on both nights was so friendly. He made us feel right at home. We were always the first customers in the restaurant so...the food came quite fast for us. Everything was just delicious. We ordered a pasta for each person and then shared a pizza. That and the desserts ensured that we left the restaurant stuffed. The food is really affordable. The pastas are between 8-10 Eur for one. The pizza starts from 5 Eur (their Margherita pizza is great!). Dessert is 4 each. We had tiramisu, cheese cake and what I think is black forest cake. They're all really good. Would definitely recommend!More

Great choice of pastas! Big portions. All pastas we tasted were delicious. We liked desserts as well.Great service and friendly staff(we were very pleased to meet Russian-speaking girl). Once found we returned there two times until we left Bologna. Bellissimo! Grazie!

I was looking for good pizza restaurants near our hotel and this came up They had friendly staff and a good menu. The wine list was more extensive than the menu and the prices went VERY high which is weird as the food prices were...not too expensive Napolese pizza aint for me as it is too oily but it was ok, What was annoying was the fact they did not accept cards. So my friend had to go cash point and withdraw cash for us to pay!More
