As soon as I arrived Bologna I came running to here to eat! Already searched it and had my eyes on the prize. I came 5 minutes late but they still opened the door for me, which was very nice! Good homemade lasagna, we have tried artichoke and bolognese. Service is super fast and food realy hot and fresh. You can even ask for cutlery.
I tried tortellini de ricotta (the tomato sauce was delicious. And tortellini de zucca (the sauce has sage which I found very aromatic, flavorful and creative) it is filled with pumpkin which needed some salt to taste. Nice and tasty! We have tasted 4 dishes in total and they were all very delicious. Sure, you need to stay in a line sometimes, but it goes fast and the vibe is amazing. Although tourists visit this place often it's mostly locals eating there.
The pasta is good. I would recommend it if close by and if there is no long line. A bit too hyped and the line moves rather slow.
Amazing pasta and definitely worth the walk. Along the way, you'll see a less touristy side of Bologna. Although there's no option to dine in, take away some pasta and walk across to Barazzo where you can order some drinks to enjoy with lunch.
Went here for our first lunch in Bologna, got our pasta to takeaway (there were a few seats at the bar in the shop but it was sunny so we went to a nearby square to eat). I had orechietti with broccoli and it was...amazing, the pasta was so fresh and chewy and delicious. Would definitely go back as it was a real bargain too!More

I waited for 20-25 minutes in a cue to get my take away pasta. Tortellini had finished so I chose to have lasagne. It was kind of dispersed in the plastic box but still very tasty. Nearby bar was also very convenient to have your...pasta with some wine. It was a good lunch option over all.More
We stop there for lunch twice during our Bologna visit. Food was delicious! Personel is very nice and speaks good english :) We ate in park nearby.
We took away pasta (tortelloni and tortellini); it was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you want to try real Italian pasta!
I have eaten in a similar establishment in Verona and that was blinding so after the reviews on Tripadvisor I was really looking forward to the experience.Oh dear what a let down and that let down was the food!! we ordered and was told ten...minutes no problem obviously cooking it to order. We then went across the bar Barazzo to drink and eat (the bar is a rip off) the telle ragu there was only a desert spoon size of ragu and to be candid I a man could cook better pasta I had the Macceroncini Asparagi you know when something has been microwaved the surface is crusty that was my pasta and the asparagus was from a tin. Basically the food was dire after a few fork fulls we left it and looked for somewhere else to eat.More
You can buy fresh home made pasta, and enjoy it next door, at Barazzo. I tried lasagna and tagliatele con ragu. Very good.
Great food at a good price in this little pasta takeaway shop. A couple stools if you want to sit and eat here, but the draw is the pasta, not the decor.
Delicious & fresh pasta. Bit out of the way but worth the walk! 10 minutes from the square so its not too bad! There are some benches nearby to sit and eat.
