Bologna is foodie heaven (La Prosciutteria, Simoni Deli, Paulo Atti etc etc and that's even before you name any of the superb restaurants), so only right it should have one of the best places for top quality Gelato : Cremeria Funivia. Tried the shop on Piazza Cavour, knew it was the right place when I saw the long queue. Plumped... More

Took my family here for a refreshing snack and it did not disappoint. I chose the Lemon granita and by far it is the Best granita I have had outside of Sicily. My partner chose one of the special flavours gelatos and it was amazing. Strawberry Gelato ticked the box for my daughter and the chocolate Gelato was a hit... More

Just fabulous. You might have to queue at times, but be assured, it's worth it! Wonderful, deep, vivid flavours. The pink grapefruit is unbelievably good.

One of the best gelaterie of Bologna. My favourite flavours are "Alice" and "Cremino". Try them! It's located in the centre of Bologna, so it has a easy access to the city centre!

We came here through a recommendation from our air b n b host. We would thoroughly recommend-all the flavours are what you need and there is also a list of house specials. I would recommend the pistachio, melone and banana-stunning.

We embarked on a four day gelato binge in Bologna, and agreed that Cremeria Funivia was absolutely the best. The Cavour flavour was out of this world. Plus a nice green square across the road in which to enjoy the gelato. Wish we could live there.

This was the best ice cream by far. We've had many ice creams in Italy during the last two weeks, however, this one surpassed them all. By far. WOW.

their gelato is probably the best in Bologna and the service very smiley and obliging. portions very generous, too. what I didn't like was the slightly pretentious and frigid decoration, well they sell frozen stuff but the ambience could be more warm and authentic. instead it reminded of those run-of-the-mill frozen yoghurt shops. but let's not miss the main point... Our host in Bologna recommended Cremeria Funivia for anyone who likes ice cream and this place was truly amazing! We got good advice from a local expert in the line, on wich flavours to pick and he sure knew what he was talking about. Try these flavours in this order: cioccolata con rhum, contessa, Leonardo. Many flavours, great service, the... More

Awesome location really original ice cream tastes, sweet cakes and kind waiters. The one who served us, blonde one named Paola, was extremely professional, plus her English was really fluent. People like this make the place even better than it originally is!
