Gelato in Italy is a must! This place was lovely. Sometimes there is quite a line, but it was worth it! As always, chocolate is where it's at.

Wide selection of scrumptious flavors, and cheerful service. Gelato is one of the great delights of a visit to Italy, and Cremeria Funivia is one of the reasons why.

We visited four cities in Italy this past summer, (Rome, Genoa, Milan and Bologna). It was hot, and we ate gelato almost constantly. I can't say we ever had to suffer through bad gelato on this trip, (does bad gelato even exist?). Each city certainly had its standout gelateria, but the one that really had us swooning was Bologna's Cremeria... More

I'm not sure why the line is always so long, at least the two times I visited. The gelato is only so-so, in my opinion. I had enough of it after just half a portion of the "single scoop", as it was really sweet in a flat, non-interesting way. This place is over-rated.

Absolutely delicious gelato. There is a line out the door but iris worth the wait. Gives you more time to decide what flavor to choose. I loved the Alice and also the lemon was tart and tasted of fresh fruit.

We were recommended to come here by our foodie tour guide. It was a great recommendation. We went to several gelato stores during our stay but this was the clear winner by a long way. The gelato was dense and creamy with a good range of flavours and serving options (cup, come, brioche bun). A must do activity if you... More

Definately worth a visit or two! We went twice and it could easily have been a third time. Very good ice cream! Nice and patient staff guiding you right in choosing flavours.

Last stop gelati before we left bologna. I ordered the Alice and pistachio flavours - pretty smooth and great on a hot day. There was a queue out the door. The place had modern clean deco.

I don't know what's in their secret ingredients, but these gelato are the creamiest I have ever tasted. Many special flavour to go for. You can see many locals buy a whole box for takeaway. Just one bad experience unrelated to their service, I took down my sunglasses and leave it on the bar table (where I stand to enjoy... More
