Lovely little restaurant on a quiet square just a few moments from the Piazza Maggiore. We only stopped for drinks but they gave us lots of free food without us asking for it, and you can't complain about that.
Food was average. Service was shocking. The waiter was rude and shrugged his shoulders when we asked where our food was. One of us was served food, the other had to wait another 20 minutes for their food.

We happened on this gem of an outdoor cafe in a quiet enclave. Various interesting snacks and unusually good Italian pastries and of course great coffee. The sister restaurant of the great Mela around the corner.
Good to sit around sipping a wine but the sandwich I had was very average. Tired looking lettuce, some tomatoes and mozzarella slapped together. Stopped the hunger pangs but the wine was better than the food. Service friendly but super slow.
Very good pastries. Coffee or aperitifs. The big surprise was the cleanest bathroom encountered on 4 continents. From what I've heard, the Chinese government should send teams to study this place and then set out to reform their own dismal public lavatories.
We enjoyed breakfast with delicious croissants, pastries & amazing coffee a couple of time during our stay on Bologna
A lovely outside terrace in a car free square. Great service & buzy atmosphere inside with lots of locals
A lovely little cafe to just sit away from the crowds. We had 2 glasses of wine which came with a superb selection of free snacks. The Cabernet Sauvignon was of a very good standard. The waiter was friendly.
This is a pretty ordinary place which likely hasn’t had a facelift for 20 or 30 years. That’s why we just had our coffees at the bar and didn’t sit outside paying that premium. Coffee and cake were fine
