I knew Bologna is famous for the good food and especially for the ice-cream, so I tried gelato at many of the cremerias in town. All are outstanding. Créme de la Créme pops up in my mind as exceptional, but the highest price goes to Cremeria Santo Stefano. This old-looking parlor, ideally located, makes the most sophisticated gelatos I have... This is not only the best gelato in Bologna but maybe the best in Italy. I had four different types. One was a strawberry sorbet and you could really taste the fresh strawberries. Another was the hazelnut which was really good. The third was the chestnut which was like getting and eating fresh chestnuts roasted by a street vendor. The... More

If having an ice cream is a must-do on a trip to Italy, trust me when I say that it is worth the few minutes walk from the centre of Bologna up Via Santo Stefano to have an ice cream at Cremeria Santo Stefano. The ice cream they make and serve is simply sublime - flavours intense and subtle at... More

By far and away the best gelato I had on my Italian trip (and that I could recall in recent memory). There was a good selection of different flavours and, unlike other gelaterias, the flavours were all a bit different. For example, salted pistachio. The flavours were all incredibly intense and absolutely delicious. In fact, they were so good I... More

Every morning I saw the owner waking up early to prepare the gelato. Always a smile on, the place is impeccable, the quality of the products always at the top and the place itself very nicely decorated. They open late, sometimes over the hours, the kind of place you only find in Italy.

Especially latte Ice Cream is delightful, you can find other types also. Özellikle sütlü beyaz dondurmayı deneyin. Mükemmel. Diğer çeşitler de gayet iyi.
