I had pasta al ragu and two side orders of vegetables. That plus water, wine, and coffee was just 25 Euros. A good price, but not great food. The ragu was good, but the vegetables were bland -- I expected them to be cooked in oil with garlic and possibly chili, but they were simply boiled to death. On a... More

As with most of the restaurants we frequented over our 5 night stay in Bologna we were the only tourists in this welcoming trattoria. It was packed with locals, which is always a good sign and something that we always keep an eye out for. The menu was small but with seasonal dishes available, something that Italian restaurants have a... More

We wandered in for lunch to this cute neighborhood place, drawn in by hunger, the good prices, and options for the Menu Fisso. Full of locals and business folks enjoying their pranzo. Really good pasta. Okay house wine. Good service. Just be sure you know what your ordering. Or be adventurous like me, as I decided to have my secondi... More

Enjoyed our meal at trattoria Amedeo. Staff were very friendly and when they saw us struggling with the menu promptly gave us one in English I ordered tagliatelle ragu and asked the waitress to recommend a 2nd dish. She said tortellini with cream. Both pastas were delicious and well priced as was the house wine.

This is a plain Trattoria with friendly but no nonsense staff who actually provide good service and great food. The atmosphere is one of a real local eatery that people come to simply because the food is good - and it is. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the food and it makes a refreshing change to... More

This is a casual neighborhood tratoria with excellent food. We were there on an evening offering fish, and the branzino al sale was excellent. My wife had sogliola al forno which was delicately prepared and very tasty. The primi piatti were exquisite (gnocchi al gorgonzola and tortolini in brodo).
