We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We were able to try some food in new sorts of ways. The owner is very kind and will go over the whole menu with you. Not one thing was bad. Make sure to try to make reservations even if it is the day of, it gets very busy.

It's a small restaurant not to far from the downton. They have a lot of specials, but I like the appetizer cheese and salami. An incredible place for me

Many restaurants in Bologna are closed in August so we had to look a little further afield to eat.....and very glad to spend €11 on a taxi to reach Osteria Satyricon as we had a great meal. The staff were extremely attentive and the menu was very varied with an abundance of "specials". I had tempura zucchini flowers stuffed with... More

Had a fantastic meal here. Horse meat carpaccio with a stellar cheese was my main, and it was GREAT. The menu is divided in classic and modern...both very good. Good wine and a fantastic host/server, who gave us great tips for other restaurants. Definitely going back next in Bologna.

On a recent short break to Bologna we searched on trip advisor and this Osteria turned out to literally be two roads up from our accommodation. We ended up eating here two nights in a row and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were really helpful and on realising we were English were very helpful in explaining the menu. There is... More

This is a few km from the centre of Bologna. We took the 13 bus from the centre and got off at the Parisio stop which is very close to the restaurant. The decor is best described as quirky and amusing. The servers spoke good English. We had booked for 19:30 opening time, and it was not too busy at... More

Terrific restaurant with hip decor. Underpriced considering the quality and high level of service. No wonder it's crowded!

I just popped into this little restaurant in Bologna because of its name. It really lived up to expectations. Ordered a cheese plate as appetizer and it came with 10 different local cheeses in big portions. What an experience. If you love a plate of cheese, this is the place to go.. Huge list of wine to choose from and... More

A definite favourite of mine in Bologna. The staff are all friendly and discuss wine choices and meal with you. The meat and cheese platters were each delicious and of a high quality. The restaurant also has a special menu which provided different dishes. For example to start it offered a sea urchin stew and a tuna carpaccio. I really... More

Absolutely loved the dining experience from beginning to end. The place seemed cozy and a little alternative. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. I ordered a fiori di zucca for antipasto and the AMAZING cascata di manzo, the meat was so tender and excellent quality, and the lava cake dessert topped the night off! It was just excellent and stood... More
