Great food. Quick service. Fillet steak with pepper sauce was excellent. Covid compliant. Highly recommended

We both had tortolloni with fungi porcini and it was homemade and delicious. We were highly entertained watching the scenery, the locals and their interaction. The food is is a must.

Can’t fault the food and the service. Very quick with the dishes and extremely tasty. Nice ambience as well if you can sit outside also. However when the bill came I was overcharged for dishes I didn’t have. The waiter was apologetic and I’m hoping...it was a genuine mistake. If not be sure to scrutinise the bills afterwards.More

I have dined I quite a few restaurants in Bologna and a few around the globe. Experienced different quisines. I have come to divide the chefs I to the "Grandma"s and the "Fancie"s. I definitely prefer the Grandmas. This restaurant is the best in Bologna,...and as you know, Bologna is the food capital of Italy. So draw your own conclusions. I have eaten here at least 6 times. All is superb.More

A must go before leaving the city. Recommended by our host. He knows what's good around the city and has a finite palate. I trusted him with my last meal there. All in all, that could be my last meal ever. It was that good....Go for Tagliatelle alla Bolognese with a glass of red wine. Can't go wrong. They'll happily help you with desserts so you can feel good about your meal. What a treat!!More

This trattoria is a little off the main tourist routes of Bologna but a great spot to try all the signature bolognese dishes prepared in a very home-style way. While their tagliatelle with bolognese ragu is tasty and comes in a really big portion, the...highlight of the dinner was the ricotta filled tortelloni with herbs and butter sauce. They have a decent wine list to accompany dinner and also all their desserts are homemade including a very tasty mascarpone cream and panna cotta. Good value for money with friendly staff, all in all a recommended spot to familiarize yourself with all the food highlights Bologna has to offer.More

We dined at this rustic trattoria for a long lunch. We sat inside where the homemade pasta was being rolled out on one of the adjacent tables. The food was really authentic, with the highlights for us being the tortellini in broth and passatelli in...broth...superb!More

Delicious food. Fantastic. Very honest cosy restaurant. The menu is simple, but the pasta alla bolognese is very excellent.

We ate here two nights in a row after some friends in bologna recommended it. You have to book if you want to eat here as it is always busy. Call in or telephone. Suggest you request an outdoor table. The house wine was excellent....The Ragu was excellent. The beef was excellent. Tortellini in broth was excellent. Panna cotta was amazing. Give the bread a miss. Yes they owners can be a bit grumpy but it’s a traditional Italian trattoria that is always rammed so just get over yourselves and love the food it was sensational. Waiters were very friendly. Yes it’s by a busy road but get over yourselves the food is amazing. Don’t expect to just turn up though. Lots of locals with a nice buzz.More
