Every time I come to Bologna I visit this restaurant. One of the best in the city. Their Tortellini in brodo is delicious. As a started I had some cold meat, including mortadella, also delicious. Service was very good and friendly. Very reasonable prices.

Had read that this place was highly recommended so came for lunch. Had tortellini Gorgonzola which was ok but not that special and in my opinion overpriced at 12 euros (most places I ate at in Bologna charged around 7-9 euros for pasta). House white...wine was ok. Wouldn’t go again. Recommend Osteria dell’Orsa nearby instead.More

Look no further than Trattoria Anna Maria when in the mood for some decadent chocolate cake. The pasta isn't too bad either. In fact, you may just fall in love with their homemade everything! With walls full of celebrity photos with the owner, you'll find...yourself understanding why they're as much a fan of Anna Maria's as she is of theirs. Tastes are absolutely delicious and unforgettable and an absolute must try when you are in the city! Prices are a bit higher than average for a trattoria, but this is more of a sit-down restaurant, even if the name might suggest more of a casual quick stop and go.More

Having seen the pasta being made further down the street, had to try the tagliatelle with ragu, marvellous. As was the gnocchi with Gorgonzola. Mains of roast lamb and roast rabbit came with potatoes but we should have ordered a side of vegetables. A lovely...well priced bottle of Sangiovese accompanied meal brilliantly. Then came the reason for 5 stars, a baked apple with marscapone on local cake. This was on the house and was a great mix of flavours and textures. Our very poor Italian then resulted in two red dessert wines appearing which were a sensation, we were only trying to find out whether the fish was a local specialty. As these were also complementary, a good tip was earned by the very pleasant and welcoming staffMore

We came here as it was close to a museum we visited. Read about this place and decided to try it. A lot of mixed reviews and I must say that we had a good surprise. We did not take any main dish so I...can only review the pasta. The tortellini In brodo was the best I had lately and I had some. The gnocchi al Gorgonzola was great as they were so soft. The service contrary to some complaints here was great and friendly and in the end we even met Anna Maria that just celebrated her 80th birthday. Not fancy not gourmet but great local cuisineMore

We had a wonderful meal here, the waiters were charismatic and very helpful with the menu and didnt let us order too much, the vibe was local and authentic. The food came out at a wonderful pace. I have to say it was a culinary...highlight with its rootsy vibe and authentic offeringsMore

We came for the Ragu Tortellini and it was great. We had an appetizer of cold meats, wine, espresso and Pena Cota... delicious!!! A real place with local atmosphere. Good service. Would certainly come again!!

Really looked forward to this meal and upon arrival everything was good until they screwed up our pre-ordered menu. Waitress turned on the rude and arrogant attitude that’s sadly so common in this country. The locals here questioned why we even went there. Photo of...our specially ordered (months before) pasta dish.More

Went to this restaurant with high expectations. But sorry to say that I was disappointed. The food was good, but nothing wow. Have eaten better. Staff was nice and place was clean.

It feels very authentic inside and the food is nice. Beef ragu was one of the better we tried and the tortellini in broth was good too (it’s nice everywhere). The house wine wasn’t good and the antipasti meat wasn’t the best we tried. Still,...overall was a good experience and the staff were friendlyMore

We went twice and didn't have a reservation for either night. I don't think it will be an issue for you - worst case you may have to wait. You can stroll to kill time - the area is a mix of young people and bars. Make sure... More
