The place, the look of the dishes give you high expectations. Everything looks nice. Sadly we ate some extremely average food. The "vellutata" was like a mashed vegetable put together. The tagliatelle weren't tasty. The bufalo meat inside was ok. The house wine was really disgusting. I couldn't drink it, neither white or red. The hamburger was so dry. You... More

We came across this place for lunch. The staff provides great service with menus and drinks provided quickly. The food is fresh and delicious. We had a salad and vegetable dish to start and pastas for main. It was all so good. I would go back!

We had lunch at this little spot tucked away on a side street away from the main tourist area and enjoyed a nice light meal - not always easy in Bologna. We shared a fabulous Salumi plate - fabulous local mortadella, ham, prosciutto and salami - and then each had a gazpacho - mouth exploding flavours that sang for long... More

I have been here s few times. The place is very nice, a bit small, just off the noisy via Pratello. This time the food was excellent. In The past I have not always been satisfied. Their selling point is that they serve dishes with 'organic' ingredients but the previous couple of times The dishes were a bit bland. The... More

Top quality food. Fantastic service. Stupendous wine. Comfortable ambience. Don't play hard to get. Make time for this little osteria. You'll be happy you did. We most enjoyed their evening special of pancetta with peas and whipped pumpkin, but their quail was also superb. The chocolate fondant for dessert was out of this world.

This place is hard to classify. It's not a vegetarian restaurant -- I had excellent prosciutto for my first course. But it is focused on sustainability -- the wine and the bread, both excellent, came from local sources. It offers unusual dishes -- I had a tofu tart with carrots as my first dish -- but they are unusual with... More
