Sorbetteria Castiglione is in Via Castiglione, in the city centre. Staff is friendly and gelato is awesome! You can find a large range of flavours. One of my favourite is "Crema d'uovo". "Pistacchio del Bronte" is really good. "Cremino Guglielmo"! You can enjoy your gelato outside, sitting in the confortable chairs!

Interesting selection of ice cream flavours here. Good quality gelato! One of the better gelateria shops in Bologna.

We went for an ice cream and was a bit disappointed !Nothing to talk about! Not easy to find! If you still want to try it, go for creamy tastes such as chocolate.

Since this gelateria changed hands, the quality has gone down massively. The ice cream is no where near as good as it used to be and has taken on quite an artificial taste. Instead I would reccomend the cremeria Santo Stefano which is just down the road!

Great Gelatteria worth the 10 minutes walk from the main square of Bergamo. The only difficulty is to choose between all the different and delicious gelato flavours the have. Go there and enjoy! Thx

The pistachio was really smooth and tasty! The strawberry sorbet tasted really sweet, like Haagen Dazs, which I love. The rum and chocolate was just the right balance as well. All in all, this place is definitely worth a visit even on a cold, rainy day. It's not over-rated or over-hyped!

Went here upon recommendation by a friend and it was absolutely delicious- the best gelato I have ever had. Well worth the walk (however it really wasn't a long one). Worth going here after dinner rather than having dessert in whatever restaurant you're at. Staff helpful and flavours both interesting and all very tasty. Was so hard to choose!

A few years ago, I found this listed as the best gelato in Europe. We tried to go, but it was closed in August as many places in Italy are. Now, there are more lists and more places, but we tried again. It was lucky that our visit was early in our trip so this could be our measuring stick.... More

This place was on my food 'to do' list and close to where we were staying. It is extremely popular. You order at the first counter what size cone or cup you want. Then you proceed to the right to the gelato and choose from their extensive list. I chose the Emma and Michelangelo and both were delicious! Not the... More
