location is great, so i was aware to pay for that but for the rest, just few words... - how can be possible to serve spaghetti overcooked in the 2016 ?! (maybe because they were precooked, to save time, like they do in uk ?!?!) - the "fondutina" of parmesan it was mostly just kitchen cream (maybe they show the... More

After being told by the hostess to sit anywhere, the waitress rolled her eyes when we picked a corner table, presumably because it was set for more than two. This was the first pasta I've have in my 3 weeks in Italy that was not al dente; instead it was chewy. The creascia was good and the ambience was fine,... More

More impressive than you first think from the exterior. Totally charming with good service and an excellent lunch. A bonus is that the price is very reasonable. I don't know why there are £££ next to the listing as it is NOT expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed a treat of the speciality of the house (on the house!!) then I had... More

A very traditional restaurant, well located by the Palazzo Ducale: as one of the earlier reviewers noted, it looks like a cafe, but is in fact a quite large restaurant with a wide ranging menu and friendly staff. Excellent use of truffles and local cheese, and the salads are enormous and very good value.

It´s one of the traditional restaurants, they get the salami and cheese from local producers, in fall they buy truffles and mushrooms from the local truffle hunter. Pasta is housemade, open wine. No outdoor sitting area

We were here on a Sunday in August to have lunch. We ordered a salad, two spaghetti carbonara and two type of wrapped pancakes with tomato and mozzarella. The spaghetti was awesome. I have never tasted it better. The meals of my family were also good. The service of the staff was good and friendly. Only dissappointment were the rest... More

Came across this delightful restaurant by accident. Opposite the cathedral it looks like a small cafe but extends through several rooms to a garden at the back shaded by umbrellas. Our pasta meals (recommend the cappelliti) were excellent as was the service. Great value especially as we were also given a small starter and dessert for free. Sadly it was... More

It was a pleasant surprise this bar, we could get away from the cold of a winter evening. The bar is located right in front of the cathedral, and sitting by the window you can relax yourself just by watching the artistic beauty of the church. About the bars I've had a great relaxation time, good coffee and very nice... More

A great restaurant in the heart of Urbino with upscale food for an upscale crowd. You can eat casual in the bar or more formal in the dining room. The decor is relaxing and quiet with a decent amount of room. The tables are spaced well and the chairs are comfortable. The service was very courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. The... More

Reviews on this site promised a good meal. A salmon carpaccio turned out to be slices of smoked salmon draped over a handful of chopped lettuce. Not salmon carpaccio. A bresaola similarly wasn't air-dried beef or veal. A filetto di manzo was both chewy and tasteless. Presentation on the plate is rough at best too. Service is decent, but based... More
