Located close to Piazza del Popolo the Osteria is nicely located in the centre of Pesaro. It is a traditional type with some old Roman Mosaics in the interior and a nice outdoor area. The food was very nice with good portions and served by an excellent, friendly waiter. If you are looking for a relaxed eatery with good value... More

This traditional Osteria has an authentic look in the middle of the historic district of Pesaro. A Jewel you have to find and try for a casual homemade meal. The prices are very reasonable and represent good value for money. After eating a great traditional dinner, the owner showed us the restaurants artifacts with great pride. The restaurant has a... Based on prior reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. The house white wine via carafe was inexpensive and quite good. The bruschetta with prosciutto was nice and a good quantity for the cost. We both ordered rolled turkey as a second plate. It was not a good choice at all - turkey was very dry with way too much... More

It's a really nice spot. A friend of mine brought me there and can't regret at all. It is pretty small and sometimes you might share half of a table with someone else, which is not bad unless they talk in a really loud way. But the food is awesome.

Nice local spot, we had the tasting menu that was excellent value. Great local food and atmosphere. What is also nice the restaurant is on top of old roman ruin. They did excavate a bit in the basement were you can see the old mosaic floor.

If this was a proper restaurant I would not rate it in a positive way. Being Austrian, it reminds me of all these Gasthauses and 'Beisls' of Vienna. The atmosphere is definitely very cosy and homely, just the place you are looking for if you are hungry and just want to eat something your Italian grandmother would have cooked. You... More

Went there because recommended by the lady of the B&B where we have stayed in Pesaro. We had really tasty and good food from the starters to the desserts. I specially loved the gnocchi with wine and cheese! The restaurant, furnished with wooden tables and chairs and hosted in an ancient building, is not easy to find but it is... More

This is perhaps the oldest Osteria in town; the family has run it for I think more than 150 years, and for about a hundred it has been in here. An Osteria used to be a place to get a sip of good wine and some company. Now they also serve good, traditional food in a lovely, ancient atmosphere and... More

I had not had the pleasure of eating here for several years. The food was not as good as I remembered it. A wonderful atmosphere, and pleasant wait staff, but the food wasn't extraordinary. Not bad, just not what I remembered it. Good desserts however.

Tripadvisor is really very helpful in choosing a restaurant (or hotel) but sometimes you wonder why everyone gives a good review for a restaurant and when you go there it is really disappointing. This happened to us at La Guercia. We took the ‘menu di degustazione’ since many on the site were lyrical about it. Well: it is not expensive... More
