With so many restaurants in this section of Rome it's difficult to choose. We were lucky to find Da Francesco, which was very busy but the staff seated us outdoors after a short wait. Good wine selection and excellent pizza with a super thin crust which we prefer. Mostly Italians eating there, many in large groups which is a good... More

Great food incenter of Rome. Even if clearly touristic the food is fantastic and service very very good. Amatriciana best in Rome and so the 'carciofi'. Great location

Lovely little restaurant tucked behind Piazza Navona. We went on New Year's Day and it was already very busy by 12.30 but they managed to squeeze us. Husband had pizza with Italian sausage, which we both agreed was the best pizza we'd ever tasted that he still compares every other pizza too, and I had an amazing black truffle pasta.... More

This place was incredibly mobbed as we waited a very long time to be seated. I can assure you it was worth the wait as it was one of our best meals in Rome.

My wife and I were very impressed with the dining experience. On arrival we were seated promptly despite the obviously busy restaurant. The range of food on the menu was good; a wide selection of primi, secondi and pizza was available. The food we ordered was great. Ossobuco and lamb shanks were very tasty. There was also a wide selection... More

Da Francesco was simply the best meal that we enjoyed in Rome during our vacation. Superb food combined with excellent service and hospitality made for a memorable final meal in Rome. It's difficult to eat a terrible meal in Rome but this place is a cut above the rest. Book in advance and enjoy.

Man what an amazing meal! I've had plenty of pizza while visiting Rome and this is by far the best. Great staff, very friendly and service is top notch. Went twice for dinner during our 4 days in Rome. Best to make reservations but did see some folks get in after the reservations were seated.

Da Francesco is a neighborhood place which seems to have caught on with the tourists. We had a reservation and were waiting outside then the restaurant reopened at 7 for dinner. Diners are made to wait there while a "bouncer" type reads your name off the reservation list and he leads you to your table. A little bit of hype... More

Da Francesco was recommended to us by a Chef/friend and did not disappoint! It was so good, in fact, we went TWICE in our 4 day stay in Rome! On our first visit, we had the prosciutto e funghi pizza and the carbonara. Both dishes were our favorite tastes on our 11 day trip. The prices are affordable and the... More
