Visited here on our arrival in Rome following looking up recommendations in Lonely Planet. There was a range of different meals, sandwiches and salads on the menu.. food was average and service was ok. It was really quiet at lunch, only one other table in there but maybe we were just early.

Fabulous idea. Order a picnic, you can choose off a varied menu. Pay a deposit and you get coffee, dessert, water, main meal and fruit. All in a picnic bag with a mat to sit on. Will visit Rome again and will definitely come here again.

I have been there several times for a quick lunch and always had salads: sorry, I cannot offer comments on anything else, but I had at least four types of salads and they were all very good -- that is, the ingredients were fresh, the dressings light and enticing, and the olive oil of a good quality. I also enjoy... More

This place is very close to the Spanish Steps. I ordered a picnic basket and took my Fiancé to the small lake in Villa Borghese. This was the highlight of our Rome trip. We laid out near the lake and there was a gentleman playing his guitar. Great food. Awesome weather. What can be better? We didn't stay or eat... More

I guess the best thing you could say about the place is that you could do worse. On the plus side, the place is airy and bright and has a nice atmosphere about it. The food itself is average, as is the service. On the minus side, prices are somewhat high for what you get.

I'm only giving this place 1 star because I can't choose to give it none... Very disappointed by the lonely Planet's recommendation of Gina. The place itself is quite cute but that's the only positive. Service, food and drinks were terrible. Over priced and not at all good. Coffee was weak, cold and not tasty, bruschetta was thrown together without... More

Through the internet I found GiNa and the possibility to order a picknick basket. You can wait for it for a couple of minutes, it's not cheap, but so worth it! You can walk up to Villa Borghese and have the picknick in the park. Great food! Great service!

Was seated at a dirty table by a sneering waitress who then ignored us in favour of the next two tables to arrive. Left without having our order taken - if you aren't wearing Prada prepare for poor service.

As it was my 3rd time in Rome (and my first wedding anniversary), I had been researching some different things to do during my trip with my husband. I'd always wanted to visit the Borghese gardens and had heard that Spring was a popular time for picnics. After a bit of searching I found out that this restaurant (5 mins... More

Passed by a few times but they are closed for dinner service. Finally had the opportunity to step in for lunch. This is a busy joint but staff seems chirpy despite the crowd who seem to be mainly locals, one of the few Italian bistros where service staff actually smiles. They are efficient with orders & food is served fast.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio

Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
