We always look for placed to eat away from the tourist areas. But although Ristorante Trattoria Antonio al Pantheon is in a busy street dont be put off as its a favourite of locals as well as visitors. Highly recommended.

A friend and I stumbled across Antonio's one night in Rome. We were looking for something more neighborhood than tourist, and the vibe as we stuck our heads in was exactly what we were wanting. The prices are very reasonable, the food is authentic home...More

This restaurant was around the corner from our guest house and looked nice on TA. There were only a few small tables outside, and two more nearly blocking the entrance. We decided to eat inside and although I saw no AC running it was quite...More

Though hardly a quiet and out of the way place, there were far more locals eating there than tourists. Service was friendly and they guided us around the menu and were attentive (until we wanted the bill, but have seen that all over Rome). Penne...More

Over the last 9 years we have eaten at Antonio's many times and my wife, who is of Italian origin, just loves the authentic dishes. For me this restaurant has to be one of the little gems of Rome, it has remained true to it's...More
