Got my ticket when i arrived (number 82) and the staff was at number 12. I waited an hour and 10 minutes and only got to number 40. The service is impossibly slow and no pizza is worth a 2 hour wait. Sorry but ciao,...ragazzi.More

We waited with the large number of people for around an hour and twenty minutes (from ticket 42 until ours - ticket 90). We tried the fried and also three different pizza flavours. One out of the three had lovely flavours, the other two were...a bit of a miss. Difficult to select the pizzas, as the area where you order is completely packed with people awaiting their turn. Standing for over an hour and then eating the pizza from a small table outside next to the bins is not the greatest experience. The pizza was interesting, but nothing extraordinary, and let down by the wait, selection experience and lack of anywhere to eat it. Seems a bit of a cult experience at the moment.More
Pizza is fantastic 5* and servers are very efficient taking orders 5*. Ambience is a negative 5. Here they have ticket stand outside, customers run inside to see where the count is because the exterior counter is broken. Once your number is called inside, if...you fail to show by the 3rd call, it's the next person's turn. However, they will get to you once that person is served. Once it's your turn, you oggle the multitude of slices, indicate the one you want, they snip cold 8" wide pizza, weigh it, hand you a receipt, put the pizza into wood fired oven, you grab drinks from refrigerators and pay for items, wait a bit more and then the magic is served up piping hot on a paper plate or box for take out. No tables inside and a few tall tables or shelves outside. NO chairs, you stand or sit on the sidewalk next to parked cars and trash cans. The line snaked from the door. We waited 45minutes for the experience. We were #21 and when we arrived, they were on #1. Folks explained the ticket process. The anticipation is key, why else would walk thru sketchy area and stand next to 50gallon trashcans? Someone said they saw it recommended on a netflix series called "Chef's plate" and we found it recommended by travel vlogger. The owner(s) should set as high a bar for the outside experience as they do on the consistency of their product. It's grungy and dirty outside and the only thing that i saw clean was the pizza case. Hose down the sidewalk filth daily, clean the trash can lids, repair the electronic counter, wipe counters and spiff up the wood tables.More
I’ve been there in the evening, and there were a lot of people. I understand that it could take a lot of time, but 40 minutes to serve 8 orders - I find it too long for a street food. All the dishes have so...much fat, that You can fill Your BMW with it. If You like that - good for You. If You want to get more classic pizza - try another place. The personell is not very nice also, and they talk to You in a way that it feels like they don’t need that job, and they have tons in bitcoin. In summary - to eat a little before You go - it’s very average.More
Honestly worth the hype! We went after visiting the Vatican in the morning for lunch as it’s nearby. You have to go slightly off the tourist track which is nice to see the area. It was quite busy which comes as no surprise as the...food was PHENOMENAL! Grab some pizza and some fritti and sit on a bench outside and chat to some Romans and other tourists you’ll have a great time! Remember to grab a ticket from the red stand outside as they will call the number for you to order, then pick Your pizza, pay and wait for them to warm it up and serve! (This was the only bit that was a bit confusing if you don’t speak Italian but we got it eventually!)More
Amazing spot with great, creative and seasonal pizza toppings and amazing, equally creative, suppli (fried balls). The carbonara suppli is a local specialty. All in all, totally worth the visit and the long line!
Their ticketing system is awful. They yell out the number while loud music is playing so you can't hear them. They wait about 5 seconds then move onto the next one. I missed my number by 2 numbers after waiting 20min. I tell the lady...at the counter and she flippantly tells me something in Italian to the effect of your'e SOL. No Pizza is worth this bad of service. Won't be back, but tourists will still flock here because of influencers.More
Great place for pizza. What makes it are the fresh in season ingredients and the bottom crust. I usually only have thin pizzas, but this place "nails" the crust. We had slices with spicy cherry tomatoes and one with meatballs. Flavors change daily depending on...what is available. Also had the arancini with potato and chicken. Line moves fast. Would definitely return!More
The pizza dough is amazing and the toppings mixture was exquisite. Mr Bonci was also there and he came to talk to us. It was wonderful experience.
We waited an hour standing in line for pizza, and it came out cold and mostly flavorless. We got three different flavors, the potato and cheese, prosciutto onion and egg, and plain cheese with sauce. The best one, the word best being kind of a...stretch, was the plain cheese. Just go literally anywhere else that has above 3.5 stars and you won’t have to wait an eternity, also it just might come out hot.More
Made the journey because of the name. A little disappointed but still good. Their pizza rossa was excellent. A little trial and error needed to find the best.
The wait time is not worth the food. The line looks long and you may think “this isn’t too bad”, but trust me, they move so slow. You’ll be in line 30-45 mins before you decide whether you’ve waited too long to give up and...after an hour you get the pizza which is pretty good, but wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had or was worth it by any means.More
The process of getting served here is a minor hassle: take a number outside, then wait for it to be called and squeeze up to counter to order. Once up there the staff is pretty helpful to explain what they have. I got a piece...of margherita and of potato/scrambled egg/cheese, and 3 fried suppli. All were really good. Shining star was the spaghetti carbonara suppli, which was damn delicious! It took about 30 minutes, mostly waiting to get to order, but we were not in any rush and it was totally worth the wait.More
Best pizza i had in Rome. We took 3 different. 1 was amazing. 2 others was ok. Cant tell you wich ones. More on that later. Positives. The pizzabread... wow... suppi wow... carbonara Suppli was my favorite in all Rome. Bad things. Poor information on...the diffrent toppings on pizza. Some pizzas you have no clue what it is. To much ppl so we felt stressed out to ask on the different toppings. Dirty outside. Overloded witch trash and nowere almost to eat. The wait... over 1.5 hour in lane. No were to sit. They have ticket system. When i arrived it was number 20. I had 83...More
We came here after watching series on Netflix. To be honest those pizzas seems a bit overhyped and definetely overpriced. Its cool to taste real Pizza Romana and we dont regret it but I think I wouldnt go there again.
