Whilst in Rome, we came across Bonci and were immediately drawn to the array of colors and options available, no two pizza are the same at Bonci. The pizza is fresh and zesty, with the right amount of oil drizzled on top. I loved the...different combinations they dared to venture with, it's a great change of typical pizza. Bonci is perfect whether you're an extreme meat lover or a dedicated vegan. 8 months later from my bed in Dubai, I can say I miss Bonci and look forward to the sweet reunion.More

Crowded places usually means good food and this was no exception. The variety of pizzas is great and the prices are really good. You wont regret trying this one. Bon Apetit!

We went to Bonci during our trip to the Vatican - it was a short walk away (approximately 15 minutes from the museums) but well worth the walk. The pizzas were delicious - all very fresh, with lots of cheese and an amazing focaccia base....And great value too! They weigh the pizza to determine the price, so it was easy to try a few different types. The restaurant was well-organised, with limited numbers allowed inside at a time for ordering, as well as different bins for compost, recycling, etc. It would have been nice to be able to sit down outside, but the tall tables for standing were convenient nonetheless.More

Close enough to the Vatican Museums entrance (and current exit given COVID) that the walk isn’t so bad. The pizza is not classic Roman or Neapolitan style but something different, thicker but with a crisp crust. I suspect as with most variations on pizza you...love it or you hate it (looking at you Chicago deep dish). Large variety of toppings and you pay by weight so ask for the size slices you want. If you’re lucky like us you can snag a table right outside, grab a few beers and eat in the shade during a hot Roman summer.More

Pay per meter (weight) pizza, what's not to like. You can decide how big of a slice to get and try a few different types, genius concept. Great pizza and the Suffli is excellent as well.

Worth the wait and higher than average prices. A very special place which I would recommend to anyone. Take your food to the stone benches around the corner near the Metro station.
