Delicious food in a small popular restaurant. Lucky to get a table as just walking by. Definitely recommend as have different menu.

Typical products from Calabria, excellent food and excellent wines in a warm and elegant place, just in the heart of Trastevere

Loved this place, not your typical fare for Italy. Salad was great, husbands burger was good. They spoke English, excellent service with no service charge which is almost unheard in Rome.

Sooo glad we went there. Staff were good. Being in a place that specialized in Buffalo I had to have the mozzarella.....which was rather ordinary. But it all went up from there. Great guacamole, excellent buffalo burger and an OUTSTANDING braised buffalo. And the chocolate...More

The menu is very unusual with lots of interesting choices. We would give it a five but we do not do that often. I had the buffalo burger. Not your usual burger but full of flavor withthe fig mustard really giving it a lot of...More

The food was very fresh, nicely presented and good price. Plus no ‘service charge’ like most restaurants in Rome charge which is a total rip off!

This was recommended to us and the buffalo mozzarella was tasty. Our main meals were good but they seemed to be understaffed with delays in organising the wine, amongst other details. A good alternative to the tourist restaurants but prices of wine were pricey and...More

We had a fantastic lunch at Il Buff. It is a little unique - like something you would find in a trendy part of Melbourne or Sydney, rather than in the tourist parts of Rome. They are big on using produce from their farm or...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
