This is a place to just relax and visit. The wait staff are not in a rush to make you leave quickly when you finish your drink and food. The bakery items look wonderful - and the sandwiches also. The prices are reasonable. Be cautious...with the outside seating for smokers may be there, if you have an issue with cigarette smoke.More

We popped in here just as the rain came down. Two waiters were very kind and welcoming. They spoke very little English and us, even less Italian but we made it work. It was a quick stop for a coffee and pastry. Warning, the bathroom,...as pointed out, is for workers, not patrons so was a bit surprising, but made for a good story!More

Stopped in for drinks after being ‘encouraged’ by staff in the street. Stressed we only wanted a couple of drinks but were assured that we fine. Waiter showed us to a table & was extremely rude, making his disdain clear when we refused snacks. When...I asked where the bathroom was, I was pointed to a ‘cupboard’ which had no toilet seat, was clearly only used my make customers & had urine & paper towels all over the floor. I asked where the light was as it was very dark - the waiter ignored me & continued texting on his mobile phone. We left at that point after paying for our two drinks. Absolutely horrendous. Avoid at all costs.More

We spent six days in Roma, over the course of two trips. We can recommend lots of great places -- from the quaint Del Monte's near the Colosseum to the most delicious fine dining at La Ciambella. This is not one I'd recommend. We stopped...here as we passed by because I was getting peckish and we hadn't planned for lunch yet -- but I wish we'd passed it by. We would have if we'd noticed the man standing around the corner with Caffe Borghese's menu, calling out to tourists (never a good sign). We each ordered from the menu. The portions were a little small for the price, and the quality was certainly lacking - especially given what we had eaten elsewhere. The waitstaff was kind, but didn't seem to understand my order. I asked if a meat platter (appetizer) came with "formaggio" as pictured and was told "yes". No cheese on the plate when it arrived. Just meat on wilted lettuce. The location was nice - we sat at a shaded table outside during our lunch - but the food quality and portion was disappointing, not worth what we paid.More

We spent some time in the afternoon outside at the open air during a sunny day and it was perfect. The coffee and the Titamisu cake were tasty.

After visiting Galleria Borghese, and Villa Borghese gardens, we deserve a break at Caffe Borghese for an excellent coffee, in a very good atmosphere.

fresh organic food, nice atmosphere until it gets crazy busy in the museum. was nice to have a meal there, and a drink afterwards. there's so much to see in the museum, you may be there a while! food and service were great.

Surprisingly good food but few places to sit. You pay for the food first then order, which confused me.

Service was excellent.Lasagne and salad were good quality if a trifle tomatoey. Wine was reasonably priced. The location was so quiet and yet in the centre of the city. Certainly a restaurant to visit again.A really enjoyable Sunday lunch without being ripped off.

We loved this quaint little coffee shop! We were there late morning and not crowded inside. Table seated four of us fine. Long bar was very nice along with pastries and pizza. Clean place and friendly staff. Prices reasonable. Stop by if you are in...this beautiful area!More
