Not a great meal. Fish was way over cooked. Had to send it back for them to redo it. Second time around it was cooked properly but not very satisfying. My husband had the pasta which was so so. Atmosphere in the garden was pleasant but I did get some mosquito bites

When deciding where to enjoy our last dinner in Rome, we intially wanted to try the michellin star Imago, but I am so glad we chose this restaurant in the end. We sat in the open terrace area with romantic lighting, and the service was much better than elsewhere we had experieced in the whole Italy. We order fig and... More

Go for the ambience, the food is terrible and not worth the price. Our Sommelier was a waiter that recommended expensive wine that wasn't good, also on his cell phone throughout the night.

The restaurant is a must in Rome Food is excellent, but the service is quite slow. The dinning room has no roof. Summertime is the perfect season

This place was great. The service was terrific. There were several servers helping us throughout the evening. The owner made sure he stopped at every table to chat with his patrons. He was quite charming as we discussed his latest venture in Williamsburg/Brooklyn. Can't wait to try Anitca Pesa close to home. They have the most extensive and well organized... More

We had dinner at Antica Pesa on the recommendation of the owner of the hotel we were staying at, Paolo, and was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our trip to Rome! My starter of a goats cheese and honey fig salad and my wife's Kataifi nest with soft boiled egg, wild asparagus, slices of Parmesan cheese and truffle was spectacular,... More

Everything was incredible - food, atmosphere, wine. Would go back in a second and can't wait to try the Brooklyn location.

Although the wine list is literally thicker than a dictionary, he best part of this restaurant is the patio dining. Relax under the twinkling lights in this very romantic enclosed patio. I chose an appetizer of traditional Roman specialities. What a treat when it was served in a wooden box! Enjoyed this restaurant very much

I would never recommend this restaurant. It's suppose be an all star see and be seen place. I personally couldn't care less. The service is appalling and when my wife and I did sit down. I had someone come asked us if we wanted a drink. I asked to see the wine list. I never got the wine list. No... More

Description
Giving always attention to meet the changing course of the latest trends, the restaurant has the culinary agility to anchor the current fashion to the heritage of the rules and quality of the food products, maintaining the delicate equilibrium between discretion and popularity. In this way, we assure our guests to be present, without appearing. The original customs officer and the modern host, preserving the historic mission of the place, have been followed by a family known as connoisseurs of taste: the perfection of the proposed cuisine, offered in an ambiance enhanced by the beauty of the great artworks and the meticulous attention for each guest, so to guarantee an exclusive atmosphere combined with the warmth of a comforting familiarity. Our guest, no matter from which movie set arrives, or for how long hasn’t come, is always welcomed with a smile, a shake of hand, a delicious meal accompanied by an excellent wine and with the warmth of the art surrounding this fascinating angle of Rome. We know well that what the body nurtures is not foreign to the soul.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
