The owner of our apartment rental recommended this restaurant and we are so happy we took her advice. The dinner we had at Osteria del Pegno was one of the best we had during our time in Italy. The man who runs the restaurant was warm and friendly and the food was terrific! We took our children and the restaurant... More

We fell upon this place by accident whilst wandering the back streets of Rome one evening. We were attracted initially by its' look of authenticity and the fact that is was family-run. When we asked if there was a free table initially we were told they were full (not surprising as it is a small restaurant), however, the owner appeared... More

The is a great restaurant run by a very charming man and his team. The food was really delicious and not too pricy for Rome. The wine list too was good with a good range of reasonably priced wines,

Honest, good-value osteria in the heart of Rome's Centro. Quiet, non-tourist ambience. Recommend the seafood paccheri pasta and the zucchini-potato antipasto.

Great little restaurant near piazza Navona, with delicious food. Manager and staff were friendly and efficient. I had the seabass. It was wonderfully cooked, covered with paper-thin potatoes. Restaurant was packed. Reservations needed!

This place is easy to walk passed and is tucked in a small lane but it's worth it. Behind piazza nevona this place has authentic Italian food at very reasonable prices. Make sure you book as its popular with the locals.

Find this on trip advisor and searched it out. Thank goodness. Best meal so far in Rome for us. Owner is very accommodating, as restaurant was full with reservations, but got us a table. Great food, great specials and the prices are unbelievable for the quality of food. Ossobuco is out of this world. Don't miss.

You feel you've stepped into a time machine with the decor, but that only adds to the ambience. From start to finish, a great meal. First stop, the bread basket, which had beautiful wholegrain rolls filled with parmesan and other good things, plus chewy olive bread, and other wholegrain rolls. Plus some standard breadsticks. Next, we shared an entree of... More
