We stopped with my family to have lunch. Good food was served : grilled vegetables, and chicorea with garlic, lasagna al forno and spaghetti primavera. All served quickly with nice and friendly service. I saw other comments and they seem really not to apply to this place! There is no table for 8. There are small tables that can be... More

Four of us found this after visiting the trevi fountain, excellent lunch with really good house wine. We were made to feel very welcome and if there me allows we will be back.

Having been out for an evening stroll we looked for a nice restaurant. Checking out the prices we were acutely aware we were in the rip off zone. We discovered Gasparone the prices were fair the welcome was excellent. The food was well cooked and pleasant. Service was cheerful and helpful. It was nice to have such pleasant service in... More

Where to start...I'll give a shortened version. After being seated, my family was yelled at by the waitress to move because we had 6 and the table was for 8. We were moved to a dark corner (the only reason we had light was because I messed with the light fixture) next to some sort of hot exhaust pipe on... More

On a quiet evening we got pulled in by the nice waitress. I ordered something having an Italian name and the translation "Pork meat" and I received a strange looking processed meat cut in two pieces the size of a potato. When I told the owner that it is not what I expected he said that the Italian means sausage,... More

Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever eaten, tough veal swimming in oil, bland salad and two day old bread. Best part of the experience was the out-of-tune mandolin recital by the elderly beggar that the patron allowed to come in and sit down beside us. Couldn't leave quick enough. Avoid like the plague.

Situated in a row of similar restaurants near the Trevi Fountain, we selected this as a quiet and friendly pizza restaurant on our first evening in Rome. We were not disappointed, and enjoyed some lovely, tasty pizzas and a very reasonable and pleasant litre of house wine. Service was relaxed friendly and delightful, and we were made to feel very... A quait and historic restaurant, located between Quirinale hill and legendary Trevi Fountain, decorated with prints by Piranesi, Pinelli and Rossini to reproduce the atmosphere of Rome in '800. In the warm season you can seat outside, in one of the prettiest corners of ancient Rome. Choose among tasty roman specialities on the daily menu: an ample assortment of appetizers from the buffet, delicious pasta, fresh fish and roast meat.Does not use the pizza As dessert enjoy our home made "Tiramisù"

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
