This was the first restaurant we came across after visiting the coliseum. Was very busy but menu had what we wanted at good prices. Were seated at the back pretty close to the people next to us as they separated a table of four into two tables of two. The girls were British also and spoke to us now and... More

Our expectations for this restaurant were admittedly not high -- it commands a phenomenal location near the Roman Forum and just down the street from the Colosseum. We've spent probably more than a hundred days in Italy over the years, so we have a reasonably good idea of what food here can be. We were pleasantly surprised with pretty good... More

My wife and I just had an early dinner here, and we'd eaten here previously on a trip to Rome, so it had to be good enough to come back. So the food was good. We had a caprese salad, and some eggplant parmigiana, along w/ salmon and veal marsala. It was all good. Not great but not at all... More

Ate here after visiting colosseum and forum. The food was really good I had mushroom pasta and my daughter had pizza. It was really busy and the queue waiting to be seated was growing by the minute. The staff were not a friendly as some of the restaurants we have been in but then again they were really busy.

After spending a scorching couple of hours walking through the Colliseum and the Forum, we were absolutely ready to crash and eat. The first place one notices is Angelino ai Fori, right across the street. My first thought was that this had to be a total tourist trap being right at the corner and the most visible from the exit.... More

We stopped in for lunch after walking the streets all morning. The restaurant is close to the major sites and ruins so makes for a great location. The pizzas were delicious, service was good and the outside seating was very nice. Our group of 6 found a table easily and they had a nice restroom we could use.

Lovely outdoor cafe (indoor available during bad weather I guess) located across front the Forum. We ordered Pizza Poppeo. It was delicious thin crust pizza, with loads of buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil. Service was a little slow and by that I mean they were quick to take our order and serve the food, but no one came by... More

Stopped here for a pizza after visiting the Colosseum and Forum. The food was really good- authentic Italian pizza. The setting was beautiful and the location was ideal. The only drawback is the slow service.

110 travel days in Rome, as we walk the streets near the capital and towards the Colosseum, we made a decision to have lunch, and found this great little Café with vines covering over head. It appeared to be very romantic and a nice restaurant. Decided to wait in line, and our first disappointments really set in. As we stood... More
