We found this while looking for another restaurant... And believe me, we were glad we did. Amazing food, great staff and... did I mention amazing food? Really, just trust me. Get the Carbonara or the Zucca Lasagna.

Pleasant meal, excellent Vino Sfuso, and some slightly different dishes as well as traditional specialities. We had nice Primo with Nduja, and the main curses were lovely, and included a Jugoslavian style burger and Fornara which was lovely. decent desserts, freindly and relaxed service. Fairly priced would go back again.

We were there in December with some friends and the place feels like home. Nice tables and cuttleries, fantastic glasses one different from the other it reminds me of my granma house. There is a good selection of food with variety from regional italian cucine, to Greek, Mediterranean and Yugoslavian all mixed together. Good selection of wines, a good service... More

We had dinner one evening here. It was a cosy place with nice but simple dishes, good food and wine!

Excellent food including local specialties. Was popular for our lunch visit, but good service. Fairly cheap . Couldn't comment on evening, sorry.

Prices at lunch are a bit cheaper, but even dinner is affordable. Great food, casual atmosphere, and lots of locals. Location is handy to the bus if coming to the San Lorenzo neighborhood from away.

I have been there several times at lunch. This informal restaurant offers a short list of good dishes for very reasonable prices. Try their mussaka, roast-beef, pappardelle rouge (spicy). Some good wines appear in the list. The service is friendly but turn to be messy and slow when the place is crowded.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
