In the top 2 places in Rome for coffee

They have a sign inside saying if you don't want sugar, you have to tell them because they automatically add it themselves. Fine by me, and a great job they did too! P.S. if you want coffee with milk, go to Starbucks because you won't sppreciate the quality of the coffee beans anyway.

As a coffee lover, this place did not float my boat one bit. I made a bee-line given its hype but sipped on a mediocre cappacino, which went cold quite quickly and had no real strength or flavour to the draw. To ensure my mind was not playing tricks on me I then sampled a straight shot of espresso and... More

Awesome cappuccino with great taste! Highly recommended for a coffe during your walk in the center! Don't buy the filter coffee for home, its too expensive and dont worth its price.

Ok it may have lost some of its former gloss and charm, but it's still a unique place serving its own style of espresso - super frothed. It won't be to everyone's taste but I love it.

I had seen this caffe listed in many websites and we decided to stop for a espresso when we spotted it in the street. It was a huge disappointment! There was so much sugar in the coffee that it tasted like candy. Apparently you need to tell the barista that you don't want sugar in your coffee, but the place... More

Loved this coffee shop! The best latte I've tasted and I bought myself an espresso cup and saucer as momento. Will definitely go again next time I visit my favourite city Roma!!!

Around Navona you naturally assume you are paying a lot for mediocre - the tourist traps abound. We were walking back from P. Barberini and made a wrong turn ending up around the corner from San Luigi da Franchesi (the church with the Caravaggios) and found the Bottega Sant-Eustachio. My fear always is that sitting and having a sandwich is... More

This is the perfect place for having the traditional Italian breakfast (prima colazione) , I ordered a caffè latte (hot coffee with milk) with bread and rolls. They were prefect combinations! Tip: Don't order "latte" unless you want just hot milk. I came here a couple of times during my 5-day stay in Rome and really liked the coffee bar's... More

Everybody queue. Just relax and take a seat in terrace. Although a bit more expensive, there is no price to get the best coffe and a relaxing moment. I recommend to try the monachela. Was a great time. Sant'Eustachio was our daily stop during a week in Roma. We will remember it forever. Grazzie ragazzi e a presto.

Our tour guide made us stop here when we requested her for a coffee break and boy am I glad that we took that break! The place is small and ultra busy but its quick, professional and coffee outstanding. We also bought a bunch of the bite sized pastries, which were brilliant as well.
