We'd dined out for most of our time in Rome and this by far had the best Italian food that we ate here twice. Even the kids Said it's the best pasta aribiatta ever!

The best pizza that we tried in Rome, excellent wine, and unique appetizers. The best service. Congratulations. I will definitely recommend this place and I will come back for more

This is a local family restaurant and serves the best Pizzas and Pasta around. It is frequented by locals and that's a good sign. The prices are very good and the food excellent. Boun Appetito!

I ate "Solo" and enjoyed fried artichokes and a pizza. The wine selection is fine and the room quickly fills with hungry locals and tourists. Go for the food!

Bad slow service, the pizzas were nice apart from a burnt inedible crust on both. Would not go again.

We’ve been to Rome three times and Il Grottino is always our first meal. Full on Italian experience in a busy pizzeria. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and frantic. Love it. Highly recommended.

We got here walking around the city. Saw the Tripadvisor sticker on the door so thought we should enter and have dinner. It seemed cosy, a little quaint place to have dinner at. The waiters were not the nicest and to be honest the restaurant...More

Everybody from the restaurant was working really hard. Pizza not as good as da Remo, around the corner but service 10 times better.

We accidentally got here, but it's the best accident ever happened to me. After we entered, got a table for two. Inside the space was very narrow, but it seemed cozy to me. Our order was placed, so we waited and waited... a lot. But...More

...In the middle of January when everywhere else was closed, this place was packed. We had to wait at lease 45 minutes for a table but it was a fun wait. There was such a buzz of excitement that you couldn’t help but smile as...More

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
