I visited last month with my family. The food was very average - a bit too oily for our liking but the staff were courteous. Good for a quick bite!

After 6 days enjoying Italian food, l wanted to enjoy my other favourite kitchen - Indian. I adore chicken tikka massala, and found it in a restaurant here in Rome - mother India. I am used to getting a bad table when eating alobe, but decided not to be disturbed by sitting behind a sticking out wall. I also decided... More

After getting sick of eating the same type of food over and over again, my wife and I stumbled upon Mother India while walking towards the coliseum and I would recommend this place to everyone. I am a Punjabi from Canada where we have numerous fantastic Indian restaurants and this one is on par with all of them. Fresh food,... More

Delicious taste of Indian vegetarian food, serving staff was so co-operative, food was like "GHAR JAISA KHANA" - feel at home. Ambience and cleanliness was superb.

I went here with three friends while we were in Rome, being British we all like our Indian food pretty hot, we are quite used to sweating while we eat it. While the food here was tasty it wasn't nearly hot enough. I ordered the Madras and asked for it very very hot, and what I got was passable, but... More

Great good & friendly owner makes the visit very comfortable. If looking for Indian food then this is the place to visit. Even Ricky, the boy from Khanna will be of great help while placing order.

You can't find decent indian food in europe very easily. We were lucky to find this place near our hotel in Rome. They serve near-authentic indian food unlike many other indian restaurants that serve bad indian food. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
