Visited Maharaja with my family after a long day of walking around the city. The food was just perfect - mild and not oily at all. The staff was very kind and attentive. My parents enjoyed the food so much that we visited the restaurant twice in the 4 days we stayed at Rome. Highly recommend it!

Humongous place. The waiter suggested us paneer Peshawari so we ordered that..it was nice but the gravy was runny like they had pre made the sabzi and added water to it. This made the salt and taste less compared to what it should have been. Their butter nan was really good though! V soft and had butter unlike other Indian... More

Majarajah was a very nice surprise after pizza and pasta for a week. it is fairly close to the collosseum and was only a 15 min. walk from our hotel. Everything about it was grand from the starched nero jackets of the waiters, the beautiful Indian decor, down to the house wine. My wife ordered the vegie menu for 25... More

Very polite and well mannered staff and we served quite quickly with good food. The welcome was very nice with champagne and even as an indian who has visited many indian restaurants, this restaurant still remained to be quite good. Unfortunately it's hidden behind a very old door with lots of stickets on which doesn't look like a very professional... More

We ordered 2 plate paneer pakoda but got only 4 peices of 3 cm×3cm. The Aaloo paratha literally had no potato in it. The waiters were very rude. It's a very high price restaurant for the service you get from then. This restaurant is good for foreigner who do not have any idea of how Indian food tastes but I... More

We enjoyed the food here although expecting us to want poppadoms and not telling us they were charging us for it was a bit rude also as soon as they offered champagne we said no as we didn't want to be charged a ridiculous price for something we didn't ask for. Anyway food was delicious! and in the end didn't... More

We went there for lunch. A nice ambience welcomed us on our arrival. We were seated and served by well dressed, polite and professional staff. They have an elaborate menu and each item we chose was served fresh, and prepared tastefully as requested. Toilets were very nice and clean. Service was impressive. I recommend the place to anyone who wishes... More
