This place is very popular but is not on the tourist map. We always said that we would like to try it once. You have to go there by bus or metro. We took the B line metro and stopped in Piazza Bologna and it...is no more than 5 minutes walk. We were around this restaurant a couple of times: there were very long queues outside and there was too much to wait. We gave up. One afternoon, when the restaurant was not open yet, we stopped just for a coffee. The barista was gentle and coffe was decent. One evening, finally, we made it. It was good and people, mostly locals, were talking loud and looked happy and satisfied. The place is pretty large with two floors and gets extremely packed. The food was good but we were not that crazy about it.. Simply talking : it was a bargain, not expensive at all. We liked the garden, the seating area, the lights, the neighborhood... But if you are not interested in a hearty meal, wine and alcoholic beverages, if you just like a light dinner like we do, and eventually you prefer to eat your meal in a quiet setting with not too many people around, then forget about it. We do not think we will go back. .More

This cafe has a great atmosphere. 3 levels to sit inside available and also a very large outside terras with heaters. The underground (minus 1) level of course doesn't have windows. They have great drinks and a buffet or brunch every day. Very good price...for such amazing food. Warm & cold. Very Friendly staff. We can recommend this cafe/restaurant during your stay in Rome. Our hotel(Osimar Hotel at Via Felice Grossi Gondi 87,) was very close to this cafe/restaurant. Just about 5 minutes walk.More

Visited Momart and service was poor, there was a nice seating area outside but we was sent upstairs without option - where there was a family event on upstairs and we was confined to a corner where an extremely pleasant waitress was expected to run...the whole of upstairs. There we’re plenty of seats available outside. We was sent upstairs without instruction on where to go awkwardly waiting whilst this family event ensued, whilst waiting to be seated. We ordered 2 side dishes which never arrived. The food came out at different times and my partners was cold by the time mine arrived, it may of been an off night but I personally wouldn’t visit again.More

I found the Momart Cafe online before I came to Rome. It is known for its buffet lunches, Aperitivo buffets and I discovered the weekend buffet brunch. It had everything: hot chicken, a pasta dish, cold vegetables, fresh made pizza, seafood, veggies cheeses, various salads...desserts. the brunch includes any coffee or tea you may want. It is in a residential neighborhood and a walk from the Metro. I will be back the next time I come to Rome.More

Lovely dinner at the Momart! Highly recommend this restaurant. We ate from the a la carte which was fantastic- chateaux briande cooked to perfection . The all you can eat buffet looked lovely too. Book if you are going during busy times. When we left...at around 9.30 people were queuing to get a table.More

This restaurant had a great offering of buffet options for aperitivo, including pizzas, salads, pastas, pastries, breads, meats and desserts. Our favourite was by far the pizza as it was well seasoned and reminded us of the puffier pizzas in Florence! The waiters were very...clear and nice to us even though we couldn’t speak Italian. Will recommend to anyone wishing to taste a range of Italian food at a cheap price.More

I am a big fan of the apperitivo tradition. This place was nice, smaller than it looks on the pictures. It's great that they have a lots of tables outside, so you can smoke after dinner. The cocktails were good, the food was nice. Nice...place to visit once, to try different things.More

Went with my husband and tried the ala carte menu of grilled squid for appetizer, risotto, carbonara and grilled chicken for mains. Everything was amazing and big quantity for the price. Cocktails were also super yumm. Good service.

Visited 03/08 for dinner. The buffet was fully booked so went to the restaurant. We started with Parma Ham and Mozzarella, we shared this as just as well as it was a fair portion for a single starter. I then had the chicken breast and...potato, the chicken filled the plate and was very tasty, while my partner had the steak in a peppercorn sauce along with a salad. Would recommend this restaurant although you might need to book as it was very busy.More

We we're advised by our hotel to go to this place as it was like 5mins walking. 1st day we tried the a la carte and it was good and cheap. They offer menus for a small amount including a beverage and a coffee. On...our last day we tried the buffet for 11 Euro. There is enough choice of food, from salad, pasta, pizza, meat and some nice desserts. Service is also great and they speak good English.More

Sorry but we didn't use them as the place is close to the hotel we stayed in. I think the place in general is over hyped and wouldn't go again. As for toilets, very few restaurants had clean ones, it just seems to be the... More
