This was the best meal of our trip to Rome without a doubt. We had a slight panic as we'd booked for 8pm and when we arrived just before, the shutters were down and it appeared to be closed. We needn't have worried, by eight...More

Excellent choice for Trattoria, has style and good service, quite authentic. Had very good zucchini flowers (fiori di zucca) a typical Roman dish. The raviolis were amazing. Good service and reasonable prices.

A local friends of ours took us here and she surely knew where to have an awesome meal! Every bite was really tasteful, vegetarian options are to die for.

Good food and reasonable prices but slow service. While we waited 25 minutes for some water and bread to start, I figured out what was wrong. The staff never focus on one thing and do that. They, for example, bring a bottle of our fizzy...More

I couldn't believe our luck at finding this place. It was reviewed in The Times and I subsequently saw it recommended in Conde Naste Traveller. Two brothers front of house whilst Mama does the cooking. A crowd of people were waiting outside as it was...More

Trattoria Monti is a busy family run restaurant in the Monti neighbourhood. It's small and has a comfortable understated atmosphere......the food is the star here. The Tortello (one large ravioli with a raw egg yolk centre) in sage butter was fabulous and the red onion...More

Nice service, most delicious starter, really good main dish (baby lamb) but the most beautiful and unforgettable is the pear dessert....if you try you'll never forget. Mid- high price level: full lunch for two (starter, main dish, dessert, wine, beer, water, aperitif) 100 EUR with...More

This Restaurant is really at the very top end of affordable places to eat in Rome, and we strongly recommend you visit - but a reservation is necessary. The meal we had was quite exceptional, and comparable to that which a fine end restaurant might...More

In a city that is hard to avoid touristy food, I did my research and found this place by recommendation. It didn't disappoint. Clearly a favourite with the locals, the food is good quality and the prices reasonable. Worth a visit.

We booked ahead for this small, family-run spot specializing in cuisine from the Marche region. It is not much to look at from the street, but inside is cozy and welcoming, with a good mix of locals and tourists. We split the fried olives and...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up

I would phone them. Get your concierge or hotel reception to do this for you. There are so many reasonable good restaurants in the area you really can't go wrong.

Apologies I would not know. If it is a party that you are looking for I would say that this is the wrong restaurant as it quite intimate.
