The guide books will tell you that restaurants near tourist attractions are, in themselves, tourist traps. Substandard food at high prices. Well, Gioia is near the Trevi fountain but a better restaurant you’d be hard pressed to find. Great food. A traditional feel and the...More

Příjemná menší restaurace, milý personál, výborné pokrmy, rozumné ceny. Nice smaller restaurant, pleasant staff, great food for a reasonable price.

We visit this restaurant every time we visit Rome. It never disappoints. Meals are generous and well priced. Eat late so you get the atmosphere. It's always crowded.

This was our go to restaurant when I visited with my family in 1974-1975. I had fond memories of this restaurant and it did not disappoint after all these years! We shared a prosciutto and melon first course and a televizione pizza. The pizza was...More

Simple food for a great price. Delicious Italian classics. Pastas are all great, pizza is pretty good for the price. We stayed in the neighbourhood and went back three times. Nice, friendly service. Will he returning!

Nice place for family. The service was very warm and quick. Great food, real Italian food, the pasta is highly recommended. Maybe the best pasta in Rom. Be aware that the desserts aren’t so good.

Terrible restaurant. Unfortunatly i did not read the reviews before we went there. The food wasn't good. The piza sogy and stale. They billed us for food we didn't order, added coperto and service which is not customary. The service was unpleasent. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

The food was terrible and they charged us for stale old bread which we did not ask for nor want. I had pointed to some appetizers on a other table and asked for them and ended up with a plate of fried crappy vegetables likely...More

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee
hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a
never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you

Hi Sue, the best way to book is calling them I guess...i don't think that they use email address for the booking. It's an "old style" restaurant 😉. Enjoy your time in Rome. Claudia Carmone.
