The restaurant came recommended by our hotel. What a disappointment. First of all, if you are a tourist you get the second tier treatment. Locals get regular water and different place settings, Tourist get bottled water with extra price tag, which is not a big...More

We went to this restaurant last night and we were offered water - it was tap water in a bottle which we declined but they would’ve charged us had we said yes. After receiving our meals the waiter said ‘I will get you some bread’...More

I found this restaurant near Campo di Fiori and our hotel recommended on a blog I was using for information about Rome generally. What a lovely, wonderful find indeed! Delicious food artfully prepared, scrumptious from the first bite of bread to the last spoonful of...More

The sort of small place where you can comfortably go with a small group of friends for a value for money meal with a relatively normal menu but with a few different ones for those who want that little change; friendly staff, good service and...More

This restaurant serves the best food you’re gonna find in Rome. A broad menu with loads of vegetarian options too. Traditional food prepared and served in their own, special way. Would definitely recommend this place, even for groups with kids.

Exquisite homemade pasta, with delicious and simple sauces, wonderful tiramisu, lovely wine (floral but dry prosecco and a smooth barbera d'asti by the glass) all served with a welcoming charm and in an unpretentious location. Our waiter offered useful guidance on the dishes then spoiled...More

This was our first meal in Rome, and sadly we didn’t pick one of the winning Roman cuisines. While we didn’t love the food, the ambiance was nice, location is easily accessible, and you can reserve online. We had a radicchio salad (oil/balsamic) to start...More

No idea about glutenfree food there. As for the dresscode for the dinner, we havn't noticed any trace- everything is just casual including the staff

The "bread" / coperto charge is pretty standard in Rome, from my experience. I've asked local Italians about this and they are also charged coperto. I'm not sure what the additional $9 charge is. Could it be foreign... More
