I was told that it is "slow cooking" that makes their food so good. Whatever the reason this was a great dinner and one of my favorites from this Rome trip. To add to my pleasure the service was as good as the food.

This restaurant serves slow cook food using the best ingredients only. The dishes on the menu are quite heavy but all are made according to traditional recipe. I ordered the slow cook pork and the steak. They were made perfectly. The service was good and...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
