This vegetarian restaurant is popular among couples and women. The quiet,old-world ambience is very relaxing. My favorite dishes were the apple onion tart and the apple strudel dessert. The language barrier made the experience challenging, since we don't speak Italian and the owners/waitresses speak little English. We ordered an arugula, raisin, pinenut pie and disliked the dish that we were... More

It is rare to find such a good restaurant for vegetarians in Rome. Even if you're not a vegetarian, this is definitely a place worth going. It is very cozy and romantic, so I would suggest going there with your partner. it is more of a winter place

This restaurant was everything we have been looking for. Brilliant service, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere and at a reasonable price. The owner/waitress greeted us and explained that she did not speak much English, however she constantly made efforts throughout the night to check in on us. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome and I hope to visit... More

We stopped by Le Bistrot hoping to have dinner on a rainy Friday night. It was a last ditch effort after a long day of sightseeing in Roma. We were warmly greeted at the door and Barbara and Danielle managed to get us a table even though they were booked for the evening. The dishes were unique and tasty and... More

We were on our way to the airport. Had a few hours to spare and one of our party is Vegan. So searched out a Vegan restaurant near to our hotel. The food was excellent! A lovely hidden Little gem in Rome. Very friendly helpful service.

My wife and I went to this restaurant three weeks ago but was turned away because the restaurant was "full". We made a reservation and went there again. Le Bistrot has an English menu but it does not contain all the dishes that are the in "main" Italian menu. Although it takes the lady owner a lot of effort to... More

Me and 3 of my friends ate here various pastas and cannelloni an all of them were excellent. I strongly recommend great food at an affordable price. An extra tip is that they have a little terrace in the street as well, so we ate outdoor which made an even better experience. And there are not that many cars passing... More

Le Bistrot is 5 minutes walk from our flat, so we go there often. We always enjoy it; it has the feeling of a private club, with warm welcome, nice cosy atmosphere, good service and good food - which is vegetarian/Vegan.
