Small and unassuming, looking like the any of the others, this restaurant was a highlight of my trip. Even though reservations are required, the staff at this petite place will do all they can to find you a spot (we got sent across the street...More

We were fortunate to finally enjoy dinner at this gem of a restaurant located less than a block from the Pantheon! We did not have a reservation (highly recommend making reservations early though). Thanks to the wonderful staff, we were allowed to slip into a...More

We seriously lucked out being able to eat here. We had heard good things about the restaurant and wandered by on a whim. We were there when they opened with about 10 others. Nearly everyone else had a reservation but us. Luckily, they had space...More

A very authentic and truly delicious restaurant. Amazing to find right next to the very touristy Pantheon. Starters were fresh and crisp and the pasta was very tasty and wonderful. In fact, it was quite exceptional as there are so many Rome based restaurants daring...More

We sat outdoors looking at the Pantheon. The menu is varied and good quality, great wine list, and fun waiter.

My annual Rome vacation is about visiting the antiquities ( yes, over and over, year after year) and eating my way through the Eternal City. I have favorites for specific dishes. Armando is my go to spot for one of the best Saltambacco Romana's.

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
