Good cheese & wine place but the chairs are not very comfortable. A bit far from the main streets, in a calm corner of San Lorenzo

We found this place on TripAdvisor and it was just round the corner from out hotel. Went quite late for a bite to eat. The staff were very friendly and other UK customers there recommended it. We both had a panini and glass of wine....Both were lovely and tasted so fresh. It seemed like quite a local place. Would highly recommend.More

We went for drinks but at the end we decided to eat something and it was just great. We tried some beer that was great too. Overal its a 5* place , the only thing that was missing was to explain us what did they...gave us to eat as they were doing it with some locals and not with us even if we spoke the language, and maybe to tell us a bit about the place and ask if we need or will taste something else as the plate that we finished eating was there all the time and not moved untill we left. Its like you are not so welcome as you are not a local or something, not sure but would come again for a visitMore

Went for our last dinner in Rome as it was very rainy evening and this place had reviews which were indeed exceeded by the lovely two guys behind the counter being super nice and preparing us amazing mix board which we enjoyed a lot accompanied...by various wines. Highly recommend!More

Tried this place on the back of its TripAdvisor rating and so glad we did. Tiny inside and reservations highly recommended - we saw 3 or 4 parties turned away as they were full. Friendly staff who were happy to make reccomendations and talk us...through what we had ordered. We went for the medium cutting board (photo attached) and it was much bigger than expected. Really cheap too, cutting board and two glasses of wine came in less than €35. Highly recommended.More

Found this on trip advisor and decided to give it a go. It’s so refreshing (if compact) and traditionally Italian. The cutting plate is the way to go. We had a large probably a medium with a side is more than enough if you are...hungry. Staff friendly, efficient and fun. Relaxed and easy going. Wish we had one locally.More

Great soup, sandwiches and wine in Rome. This is my idea of lunchtime heaven. They are happy to talk in English which is great. Perfect meat and cheese selection.

The best place to eat a sandwich in rome! You have to try the black cabbage there, it is really amazing.

After recommendation from this site I decided to give it a go! Fantastic little place, staff were excellent- friendly and fluent English. Had the small cutting board, really tasty and just the right amount of food for one. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

I'm afraid there would not be enough room in the restaurant to cater for 20 people. Its a really intimate small venue. The suggestion of using Ciacco&Bacco to cater and venturing to another location sounds like a good... More
