Was looking for something near to where we are staying and found this gem. Trip Advisor ratings were good so we arrived at 7.15pm. Great welcome and good service throughout. Food was truly delicious, beats Jamie's Italian easily! 1L of the house white was 8 Euro and was very nice. Molto Bello!

Recommended by Hotel Nazionale, Restaurant Orso 80 was a real find. Our Pasta Carbonara, breaded veal, potatoes and tomato salad were delicious. Located about 5 minutes walking from Parliament, the restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the Pantheon.

We encountered this restaurant because it was just steps away from where we stay, Relais Orso Hotel - and it turns out to be a good choice. They have tasty spaghetti all vongole, pizza and great vegetable platters. It is always nice to have a decent place for a good meal around the hotel.

We stumbled on this restaurant whilst wondering aimlessly around Rome. (As you do). There was a guy outside playing the guitar and singing-very pleasant I might add. We were a bit peckish so we ordered a "light snack". We ordered a plate of vegetable antipasti to share, a vegetable pizza to share and a glass of White House wine each.... More

First day in rome. Sunday: went to orso 80 for lunch. My wife had the pasta carb I had the pizza. The house wine was fantastic and the food was excellent especially when comparing it to the Italian food we have back home (toronto). Only cons would be that the wait is lengthy for your food however the pasta and... More

One of the best restaurants I dined at in Rome. Food was fresh, from the antipasti seafood to our mains. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff here. Reasonably priced and food was delicious. Highly recommend

We lived nearby and went there as it was practical, the ambiance looked nice. Two of the waiters had an aggressive behavior and we ended up with a higher bill than expected...

We were advised to go l'Orso 80 by a Roman woman leaving near by our place. It is a nice place especially if you can have a table on the terrace for dinner. But, no booking possible for these tables. You can get one if available, otherwise, you can wait or go inside. Customers are a mix of tourists and... More

Great meal. Get the antipasti. All of the entrees were very good. I had veal picatta and it was among the best that I've had. The bill for 5 people (including wine) came to 116 euros. Which we thought was very reasonable for a major city.

Thank Pat S
