Made a booking and by email told that had to wear a jacket (it was pushing 40Cat the time) they graciously backed down on that rule then mentioned further rules about dress code including along sleeved shirt, again being there for a couple of days...More

Restaurant M, Direttore at Mirabelle, responded to this reviewResponded yesterday

Dear Michael P, As you would like to underline in our restaurant we require a dress for the environment. In the summer we rightly allow our guests not to put on the jacket. In case you suffer the heat in a particular way I want...More

The view is spectacular, one of the best in Rome and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The tasting menu was very expensive and just a bit more than OK (though some dishes were really tasty). The bread wasn't special at all - a pity. Still,...More

It’s not often that a restaurant combines great views and great food. Mirabelle does this with a gorgeous view of the sunset over the Villa Borghese and three fantastic tasting menus to choose from. Our favorites included shrimp over cubes of watermelon infused with Campari...More

The view is out of this world. I had the duck dish and it was great! The Madagascar dessert was on point. The service was exceptional. Recommended for special occasions

Not an easy review to write because it was good....but for me personally didn’t meet the expectation and “hype” that was created of being “great”. The overall experience was good and the views were amazing....but, definitely overpriced for what was on the plate. We were...More

Our hotel made the reservations, and we purposely didn’t look anything up about the restaurant. The view, the servers, the food. I’m gluten and dairy free, and the chef made sure I had a variety of options. We enjoyed the pianist, the wine, and again...More

We wanted to have an authentic Italian dinner and this place was recommended by several people. It does have a view to die for on the terrace. It was really expensive. Very expensive. The service was terrible. We waited at least 45 minutes for our...More

We had a business meeting at the 7th floor of hotel splendid royal and envied the couples who set at the terrace and enjoyed a spectacular view of Rome at night. Food was average, wine was excellent, service was outstanding and the view is enchanting!

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

Mirabelle is not an American bar but it is fabulous. On the roof of a hotel. Definitely need reservation and ask to sit out on balcony. Dress code is nice. My husband did not wear a jacket though.

Mirabelle restaurant in Rome is a Michelin-starred, gloriously lavish, exceeds-all-expectations superstar. The mirrored seventh-floor dining room with its sumptuous pale gold dcor and elegant crystal and china frames a magical rooftop view of the Eternal City. Chef Stefano Marzetti uses superbly-sourced ingredients for haute cuisine dishes like artfully-presented seabass tartare with fennel salad and orange, oven-baked rack of lamb pre-sale with rosemary, and the famous Settimo Cielo Seventh Heaven dessert. The excellent wine list is mostly Italian with some heavy hitters from beyond. Manager Luca Costanzi, formerly of The Ritz, leads formal, friendly service, attracting jet setters, politicians and other beautiful people. Wear a jacket and be ready to have your senses ravished.
