I had the best pizza here in Rome. The place is very popular, so you might have to wait for the table for a while. But it is worth it!

The pizza's here are the best I've ever tasted - perfect thin stone-baked base and beautiful tomato sauce. Pizza's were large and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and mainly local customers ensure a comfortable experience.

In the Heart of Trastevere Ivo Restaurant is easy to locate and quite simple to get a table. Their pizza we're mentioned to me, as a good option and for my experience they are quite nice. If you search a place to eat a good pizza, this is definitely a good choice. Staff & Decor, normal but efficient. This is... More

We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Rome. It was a long walk from our hotel, but well worth the visit. We all had pizza, which had been recommended. They were lovely ! The thinnest, crispiest and most delicious we had tasted. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant too. Full of locals - always a good sign. Will most... More

We ate here from a local's recommendation (staff from another bar we'd stopped in late afternoon). The pizza was delicious and really reasonably priced. We also had the deep fried mozzarella, just lovely. We tried fried artichoke too - it was nice but no idea how it compares elsewhere. Busy outdoor seating but nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a casual... More

Before visiting this restaurant we read many negative comments about the service which made us doubt whether to go. Please don't let it stop you! Pizza and other dishes (we tried some fried starters also) are great, service is fast. They dont bother with a chat simply because the restaurant is packed, especially around 9pm.

As recommended by family the pizza here is excellent. We sat inside which was nice. Quite a long queue to get a table so you know it's good. The house wine was nice and service was fine. One of the best pizza places

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
